Trent Robinson and team can be congratulated for the Roosters worst loss to the Rabbitiohs in history - a far more significant stat from this weekend I would think.

At least we can feel good that no one put 60 on us this year 🤪

we also have no spoons (as a JV), even the broncos have one.

These kinda stats mean jack all

Maybe we need a spoon ....rock bottom might finally get the reaction from the club that the fans have screamed out for and deserve

No Club needs a spoon..fair dinkum...

Edit..except Manly

Deriously a spoon and three finals appearances beats continual mediocrity

Maybe uou prefer we stay down

Why would a spoon ensure a finals appearance in the future

You obviously prefer we get the spoon..

Fans think that a meaningless stat? WOW

Don't need a stat to tell us were rubbish. Been watching it for last 8 years

Did this really need to be highlighted? Now the media will get hold of it and turn it into yet another negative news story about the club.

It was said in the Fox commentary by Andrew Voss. The media are well aware.

Here's another record for us from the old Buzz Rothfield in the Tele:

TIGERS COP FINE FOR CAMERA COVER-UP

The Wests Tigers have become the first club to be fined by the NRL this season for covering up dressing-room cameras during TV broadcasts.

It’s happened twice this year with Josh Aloiai and Luciano Leilua placing towels over the cameras before and after games while the networks are trying to get fans closer to the action.

The NRL handed out a $5000 suspended fine after their Round 8 game against the Panthers. The fine was then enforced when it happened again in Round 13 against Newcastle.

The TV broadcasters provide more than $300 million a year to cover the game and get access to justify their huge investment.

What a load of BS. The NRL are so pathetic. I'd like to think teams were given a verbal warning first. If so, our club are pretty stupid and the player should be paying the fines.

One way to stop the cameras have a couple of players drop their gear that will soon sort it out I think a few years ago Darrell Bampton's private parts were shown on live TV he sued and got a settlement

Petty from the NRL. Good on the boys for covering them, I wouldn’t want cameras in my my dressing room either - it’s a private thing! ?

With the broadcasters paying $300 million to cover the game, i wonder what the fine will be to the clubs who have deliberately put out reserve grade sides this weekend? Surely thats worse than covering up a camera.

What did Lyin' Ivan get fined for saying the refs cheat to get teams back into games? Nothing from memory. Gotta love the NRL.

Yep, we can lay claim to holding a record not to be proud of....

10 consecutive rounds where we let the opposition score 26 or more points....

Congrats Madge and the Team...one for the books

It will be a record that won't last long with the way the game has been sped up I dare say it will be surpassed next year particularly with teams that don't get the rub of the green

It's a meaningless (although undesirable) stat given how the game has changed this year.

The new rules heavily favour the team in possession and momentum snowballs resulting in higher scores. I'd suggest a high percentage of games this years have seen >40 points scored. Just this week there's been 48, 42, 68, 42, 66 and 52 points.

While I agree this should have little emphasis when taking this year's point-scoring into account, I do however think it seriously needs to be taken into account(for us) in working on our shortcomings.
But yeah the way in which Vossy blurted it out was just another potshot IMO.

The 20 game draw was not so even i checked vs titans WT had 12 games top8 and 8 games bottom 8 whereas Titans 9 games top 8 and 11 games bottom 8 and our for and against better .However no excuse pathetic defense

The current rules have seen all teams concede points that they wouldn't have in other years. The game this year is nothing like the game two years ago. You either want to see teams play open style footy or it's back to the dour days of the wrestle and low point scoring, spoiling footy.

I agree our defence has been average this year, but in years past we may have only conceded 12 or 16 instead of 26 with the new rules. Giving us a 'record' with moving goal posts is meaningless.

It's like comparing the scoring with unlimited tackle, 4 tackle and six tackle rules. Doesn't make sense to me.

Buzz off Rothfield loves to post anything negative about the Tigers sounds like he has his own agenda against us.

Have to applaud the boys the only reason they want cameras in the dressing rooms is that they have something to talk about as there game analysis is usually diabolical.

See that Matterson also got off the crusher charge and is free to play that was nil surprise, NRL has its own agenda.

This is why I find it pointless. As its noncomparable in reference - in an uncharted (competition) year.
If they apply our attacking statistics it would also indicate our poor execution and show it's influence on our overall performances.
I felt most of our conceded tries were equally due to how error prone we were. Our inability to gain field position in crucial periods constantly had us on the back foot, this year.

Think our wrestling and numbers in defence needs work but I'm also acutely aware of how easily we overturned possession and we need to modify this area of our game.
But I agree with your original comments and feel this statistical method fails to address or correctly analyse all facts/information.

DOWNVOTE! (why do we only get 10 per day?)

Most people think the clubs current approach to improving is excellent, doing anything more drastic would just add years on to any recovery from the last set of panicked mistakes.
