It's about to be replayed now Willow..if you get a chance watch it and decide for yourself…

@ said:Very hard for Woods to come up trumps next to James Graham - just an impressive bloke.
Not too much wrong with Woods tonight a bit of foot in mouth when asked the tricky questions but if you had it in for him as some seem to have at the moment, he provided opportunity to dig the boot in with some ordinary responses.
Got to do better Woodsy to get the mob back on side.

i dont get it all.
some of you must just seriously hate woodsy or are so frustrated with the whole thing that your all jumping at shadows.
yeah, he dosnt speak "eloquently" - ok fare enough
i thought he was honest.
some of the things he said about making decisions when your in a bad frame of mind were absolutely correct… yeah its a bit dumbed down but it was simple and for me anyways, i preferred it.
people seem to forget, in his entire time as the captain - hes been soaked in controversy.
hes had zero time to warm into it
hes been on the backfoot the entire time
hes doing his best not to fan the flames because we all know he knows alot more than what he says openly..... but stilll..... not good enough aye ??
i mean come on... some of you are talking up james Graham like hes a class act...
he talks well, but hes the type of man the bit another players ear off in a game... a big game...
have you all forgot or do you think "speaking well" justifies being an absolute grub.
yeah yeah, woodsy hasnt decided.. hes had plenty of time... hes a trator if he leaves... how could he.... blah blah blahhhh ....
but what if he stays !
will some of you sorry whingers put your tales back between your legs and start grovelling at how hes the man again. i bet you, you will. sad !

Thanks mate. Watching those clips, I'm not too concerned by what Woodsy said, to backtrack on my previous comments. My take on that now is that if we can string a couple of wins together, and Woodsy is sold on Cleary's plan and coaching methods, he'll stay.
@ said:He sounded undecided to me too. He said he doesn't want to make a decision when he is angry or frustrated. That could be interpreted as he wants to see how they go in their next couple of games before he decides. Not sure how that speaks to team loyalty.
@ said:I just wish we could secure a couple of hardnosed forwards. If we did, I'm sure it would go a long way towards Woods making the decision to stay.
He's a very good prop - but he needs some help.

lets be honest - the 4 of them didnt sign because they didnt have any confidence in the coach.
thats as clear as day now.
dosnt that also explain why its taken so long ???
and now, yeah...lets see... a few wins... a good team environment .. a good understanding of the new coach and who knows ....id like to think its 50/50 and in that scenario... take a few more weeks if we get a better result ! ! !

@ said:Just watched it. There were elements of the interview that weren't great by Woods but I didnt think he came across as badly as some have suggested.
The comment about Moses winning the GF was made in the context of a hypothetical where the Tigers dont make the finals but Parra do.
The "angry" comment was more "frustrated or angry". That is, it seemed to be more aimed at the recent poor performances and not wanting to make a decision at a low point. I can probably get that to some degree.
Given how annoyed I have been with his lack of leadership I expected that I would react more adversely to this interview.
But I sort of just see him now as a guy with limited intelligence, lack of emotional maturity and an inflated view of his self-importance. He clearly takes himself too seriously. Im not angry at him for his behaviour, it is just who he is.
The contrast between his comments and the obvious intelligence and maturity of James Graham was stark.
