Aaron Woods - Signs with Bulldogs 2018 - Sharks 2018 [Official]..

@ said:
He said he'd like a draft period during the off season as it's all too distracting doing it now.
How about signing the contract put to you in the off season then?
Talk about blaming everyone else.

While I agree this crap should be kept to the off season, absolutely agree with you that if he didn't want the distraction the he should have canvased his manager to get it sorted in the off season. Woods needs to read a few leadership books about 'extreme ownership' and stop blaming everything and everyone else.

Woods commented on 360 that he would like Moses to stay at the WT,then realising what he said he back tracked stating for the rest of the season, maybe that was a slight hint of his mind set wanting to stay at the WT.

On a side note, how noble is/was James Graham

They asked him about being moved on and he responded by saying why wouldnt the club sign young and good players

I must say he wont be out of place a the tigers.. Great warrior and good mindset

:roll That's hilarious!!

Flip, why you laughing . is it because Graham argues with the Refs too much ? lol

Yeah well that certainly wouldn't help our cause if he ended up here, but what I was really laughing at was his line "_why wouldn't the club sign young and good players_" - one of the young and good players he is referring to is precisely the one everybody on here has now decided is no bloody good to us! Blind hatred kills off all reasoning. I'd take the opinion of the people that really know talent over the armchair critics on here, who have NFI, any day.

Agree with you 100%
Woods still pulled the most meters on Sat
He is still very young and faced by mega dramas right now, i cant hate him for it or blame him for our loses

It is draining when things continually go wrong or not fall into place. Thats the time when people need help and support most, not criticism.

What a shame our former captain didnt have such a magnanimous attitude rather than deciding to bring the club down with him.

Why are our players so immature on these issues?

Corey Parker accepted it. Braith Anasta accepted it at hte Roosters and countless more. Not our Robbie. He had to poison the whole joint on his way out.

Must be something in the water here because Anasta certainly did not have a very magnanimous attitude upon leaving us!

well im glad he said he doesnt want to make a decision when he is angry and not in the right mind set

I read from it that we MIGHT still have a chance to keep him

Can someone enlighten me as why he is "so angry"
If I'm not mistaken he has had a contract tabled for a long time with us that would reward him and make him one of if not the highest paid prop in the NRL and he and/or his manager has stuffed around for months and months…......I'd like to be so angry :crazy

I can, he has got sick of losing

He did say the energy is infectious
Seeing boys with heads down

We play Monday like last Sat night he aint going anywhere

Hmmmm, he and the other golden 3 (or 2 or whatever) aren't responsible for their own performances and energy levels themselves, you know, considering they are PROFESSIONALS…..

I have to agree with a lot of people about Woods on 360 tonight. The part of the grilling that really annoyed me was when Paul Kent asked him when he might make his decision - this week, next week, a couple of weeks….when? Woodsy mumbled something along the lines of a couple of weeks but that he wanted to see how the team went in the next few rounds and whether they'd win a few more games. He also said that he wanted to be in the right mind set when he made his decision, be happy and positive, blah, blah...What a load of rubbish. How long has the contract been on the table? Didn't he say he wanted to see who was going to coach the team next year? Well, he knows who it is now and Cleary guided the team to a win. Why is he stalling now?? He's grossly overrated as a player, most likely going to be grossly over paid and his holding the club to ransom is just straight out gross...just like his greasy hair and beard.

Must be taking its toll fronting up to 360 every week too and getting asked awkward questions… Oh yeah that's right he's getting paid handsomely for this.
How hard is it Aaron?
Just make your 150 - 200 odd metres and two dozen tackles each week... That's all we want

@stevied , i think you have got that slightly wrong

My take was he wanted to see if the team can continue to win the way they did and it wasnt a one hit wonder

How stupid would it be for him to say he is now staying and then we end up coming last this year.
People will say he had rocks in his head.
All im saying is i think he wants to be certain Cleary can lead the team to better things
He doesnt want sign on the promise of 1 win .
\
\
I had written him off till i saw that tonight
It gave me hope he is considering staying with us
\
\
He leads us into the finals this year half of you lot would be asking him to be made PM the week after

Ill be honest it's embarrassing watching him next to James Graham each week.

Says he hopes Moses wins a Grand Final At Parra? What sort of rubbish comment is that.

Graham is intelligent, fiercely loyal and firm.

Woods has no idea.

I would love them to trade clubs.

I actually feel a bit for Woods. He is just not captaincy material. That's probably half the reason he wants to leave - he is not cut out for this.

Jeepers man grow up!

Didn't see the segment tonight but from the sounds of it, Woods was ordinary. Sounds like it's time for him to hop off the bus.

A Captain is an inspiring leader

Woods does his job and he does it well on the pitch raking those meters

Yes, agree he might not be the best for press/ Media but he still leaves the talking to his footballing

Brett Hodgson, Robbie Farah, Aaron Woods, they all led from the front when it came to being on the park

He better not get too smart thinking he can milk this crap for a few more weeks. I have no doubt our club will give him the Moses treatment.

Sorry but a real captain does not continue to distance themselves from their club in the media over and over.

No they won't LTWT, the vindictiveness has already festered and it will never cease until Woods is gone. No other team's supporters can savage their own players quite like Wests Tigers supporters…sadly. Farah was outspoken, Woods is quiet, but both cop the same flak. It's damned if you do, damned it you don't around here.

Mate, you're making too much sense. They will never listen to your point of view, so you may as well save yourself the bother of typing and so should I for that matter.

I believe he will come good ( and i hope that too)
With Cleary there and last win there was a lot of Team Effort

I personally believe he was starting to question what he was getting in return for his continued efforts

Takes 17 to win a game and if people are not on the same page it get awfully tough to get the right result

And i understand what Teddy means that dramas year after year gets annoying to deal with
\
\
IF we had a winning culture at our club we wouldnt be seeing these dramas today

I think with Cleary at the helm we will start to see that culture back which will encourage and entice people at our club and others to come play for us

My point was about knowing who the coach was LTWT. He needs to stop mumbling all the senseless comments and make a decision one way or the other. I retract, the personal comment about the hair and beard. His prerogative and irrelevant. I was only having fun with words!

If Lawrence was certain to hold his place in the side, he surely would be a much better choice as captain.

Haha if you think Woods is lame, then Ritchie Cunningham would not fare much better. Taylor is the only real choice.
