Is there any actual talk of us talking to woods? I’m warming to the idea. Think he would complement our pack actually, I’d have him replacing Grant, but with Matolino still coming off the bench. Alongside Packer woods would make these meters we need to get out of our end that TIGER keeps begging for. The Sharks are just selfish with what they expect. They wanted the dogs to kick in half. Talk is now they are rallying hard for Taupau. For mine, had we resigned woods for 700k before all the drama most people would of been happy with that. With the dogs in the position they are in even if they kick in minimum 200k that is 600k we would be paying for woods. Well worth it for former Australian front rower and would come with a point to prove as well.

Dogs have poured plenty of $ into players to leave and play at other clubs already

Us signing Mbye was probably close to their limit

If the shark's really want Sharon i think they will need to offer more $ or hope they get lucky with Taupau

Ivan said recently he is interested in talking to quality NRL players that are interested in playing for the Tigers. I would consider Woods a quality player with a bad manager.
