So we want to release all these nuffies like Moltzen ,Luani ,Bullock etc and we release 3 out of the 6 best performed players in 2014 in Blair , Austin or Thompson

Are we actually releasing them or is it more a case of the rats jumping from a sinking ship

All I ever hear from the Wests Tigers are WORDS ,WORDS AND MORE WORDS

How about some ACTIONS ACTIONS AND MORE ACTIONS JUST FOR ONCE , JUST FOR FN ONCE just for something different

We have a new gym and no one to use it

We have this wonderful board , GM , head coach and we are heading smack bang towards our first wooden spoon

Sorry all I've lost the faith , someone help me

Woosah
Woosah…...

Necking yourself because you don't know the particulars of a backroom negotiation is a bit silly.

Not necking myself at all

We've lost almost a 1000 NRL games of experience for 2015 and signed 50 odd games

As I just said , we need to stop listening to what these liars tell us every Oct /Nov when they want our charity handout ( sorry membership )

If people can't see the writing on the wall with what has happened with Thompson ,Austin and now Blair , you need to buy a guide dog and a walking stick

It may have been a big day, perhaps a bex is the right call.

With every second poster on here complaining about being kept in the dark maybe you can just fill them in with all the details? Meanwhile I'll just fumble around in the dark because apparently the cool kids know more than the rest of us….

:wtf are you going on about

Add up all the playing talent we have lost and it is about 960 games

And whats the "cool kids " stuff about ?? 😱pen_mouth:

The only senior players staying are probably the ones that 90 % of WT's supporters want to leave

I'm guessing that 90 % of us mustn't know jack

I'm just wondering if it is a condition of their release that they say they are leaving because of family , opportunities coaches whatever

When you look at a situation and it doesn't make sense it usually means something isn't quite right

Something isn't quite right

Just wondering about how so many people can complain about not know whats going on with the club yet you declare people need a guide dog if they don't see the obvious. Its quite the conundrum isn't it?

Just maybe the truth lay between the two hyperbolic positions?

Does anyone know about the blue between Blair and brooks earlier this year at training?

Some comments from NRL(Bronco?) fans on the signing of Blair:….they aint too Happy!

Brian 1 hour ago
Bennett has got to be joking. Gets rid of Martin Kennedy, Ben Hannant also Ben Barba, etc. Signs Adam Blair, bet the Tigers are laughing. Blair would have be one of the most over-rated players going around.

I hope we're paying him on his Wests Tigers form....actually, he'd be paying us.

He is not a prop, why do we need another second rower? Rubbish signing.

I have agreed with all the decisions Bennett has made so far but Adam Blair - Really - He is a dirty player number 1 - gives away 3 to 4 penalties per game number 2 - is lazy number 3 - never makes a line break number 4 and seems to run out of puff after 10 minutes then goes missing in action number 5 and is getting on in years number 6 - why not aim for Merrin - we would have enough money if we flicked Jack Reed who is on $400k a year for 3 or 4 years - WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY THANKS Mr. GEE - We have enough quality backs to not miss Reed one little bit
But Wayne do not get Blair to our club

Finished with the generalisations yet LaT ??

Maybe if opened your mind and actually looked at the situation without your black ,white and gold sunnies on and were objective you might see that things are not quite right

So maybe you could give your opinion on what is going on instead of getting piles from sitting on the concrete fence and taking pot shots at anyone else's opinions

The old "black, white and gold glasses" defense gets a run. Been a while and you're not the usual accuser, always nice to hear it though.

As for my opinion, 12 months ago I'd have been happy to see this happen. Right not though I'm not so sure, there are a large number of variables I;d love to know.

Maybe I have piles because I didn't declare a positive or negative camp….maybe not diving into massive diatribes isn't such a bad thing?

In the end I'm not the one declaring guide dogs are needed if you can't see the writing in the wall. If your opinion is using divisive language like this, just maybe the issue isn't mine to deal with?

LOL a year ago everyone wanted him sacked, one decent year and everyone's ready to jump of the Harbour Bridge. Yes he has a good year but as a value for money proposition he was still in the red. The presser makes its clear that JT has a plan in mind and if offloading Blair is part of that so be it. He's got a reasonable record at assembling teams so I'm prepared to give him a chance.

Besides the last forward we sold them broke down a week later so maybe this is part of some warranty payment!

So it doesn't seem strange at all to you what has happened ??

Don't hold your breath waiting for variables , the club will only feed us variables that will attempt to make them look good

And I will say again (and you said it yourself , your not sure ) If you have a feeling it seems a bad call it probably is

And something else , (not aimed at you ) if you include all the players salaries together who are retiring or have been released , how many hundreds of thousands of dollars were we over the cap with a side that has finished bottom 4 the last three years

LaT you have every right to feel that the club is being up front and honest about everything if you want , just don't expect me to agree that they are

Maybe its just me but I believe there is a smokie going on here.

There are too many rumours about us and SKD and FPN.

Maybe I'm just gullible.

“I can assure Wests Tigers Members and supporters that we have a clear recruitment strategy and we are committed to building a successful Club that will challenge for premierships,” said Taylor.

I guess either you believe the man or you don't.

Gavet and now Blair !
Time to change the salary cap "please".
Another rebuilding stage again!
I believe Adam Blair was gonna have a big year in 2015 the last year of his contract. A gritty player with experience who really got injured.
I know I know Young team rebuilding stage.
Young players need confidence and to be competitive. Not broken or injured on the sideline.

Bet he does not have a big year now that he is at the start of a new contract!

Wayne B is a different coach to Potter.

The curse of the club GONE. Ever since Blair joined us we went nothing but backwards. It started with the exit of players to relieve the cap to include him and spiralled at a rapid rate from then on.See ya Humphrey B Blair. One decent year( not fantastic) just wasn't good enough or worth it.

My sentiments are the same as you Yossarian , yeah he's had a much improved year this year and has been one of our most consistent performers but come the end of the year 2015 and we didn't sign him again ? i would of not been fussed .
I was more upset when we lost Austin .

The club hasn't been upfront at all. I've posted about it a few times in other places. NRL clubs don't just give up things like salary cap details and contract particulars.

yes we will get rid of every one and bring in the under 10s from holy cross Ryde that will scare that crap out of the other teams. now that's a recruitment strategy, a 10 year plan.

Something has to be going on . Have we finalized our top 25 Squad for 2015 yet ?, when we do there is going to be a hell lot of under 20's players 😱pen_mouth: .

Well, Well, Well.

One minute 90% want Blair to go - Next minute 90% want him to stay.
Sounds like a lot of people don't know what they want.

Rule of thumb - if they don't want to stay - let them go. The three of them wanted to go, good riddance.
No place here for people that are not Tiger spirited at heart and want to give their all.

Oh! poor us we have no experience. Try this for size.

A state of Origin front row Yes! Galloway, Farah and Woods.
international second row Taupau and Sue
one inexperienced lock in Santi.
Ava, Lodge, Sironen, Halatau on thebench.
Swap them around how you like but not lacking too much in experience.

I.M.O. Rowdy is not a second rower / centre or out for mine. As we need all the experience we can get I would leave him there for 4 or 5 games in 2015 and if he fails …... He does deserve the chance under the new coach though. The same situation for Galloway for mine.

I don't think 2015 will be that bad - I am sure if the youngsters have been reading comments on here of late they would all go and slash their wrists. How about being positive in the comments guys.

There is nothing positive in being negative

So JT is looking to build a team to challenge for the premiership that's great but will he survive to see it. The cutting of players without experienced replacements coupled with the odds that the experience we have is going to be hit by injury could well see our beloved team on the end of more losses than wins, the pressure mounts and JT will be expected to pull something (not a rabbit) out of the hat to reverse the slide and get results.
