I'm starting to question if we can win the premiership next year.

I have my doubts too, a few things need to happen first, like a new coach and 3 or 4 really good signings, I am not holding my breath though

the news of Doueihi out for 9 months, coupled with the worst recruitment drive in history has convinced me we are specials for the spoon. can anyone prove me otherwise? feeling rather down at the moment.

It’s sad for doueihi but I’m hoping recruiting doesn’t really happen until after the finals as it is more readily acceptable that they wait until after.

That is really hard news for Doueihi. I hope he makes a quick recovery.

there's just not that much talent on the market at the moment. Heilum Luki and Braidon Burns would improve the side in some positions that require some upgrades, but Doueihi is the heart and soul of this football team. the damage might be irreparable by the time he gets back on the field.

I've said it before, the only way we manage to improve is if we sign players for 2023 after November 1 and try to prise them away from their clubs a year early. otherwise next season is going to be worse, with Brisbane and Canterbury thoroughly improving their playing rosters.

Don't let all the negativity get you down Avo. I hear we are currently in a heavy training cycle so we probably won't win this week but our undefeated run to next year premiership starts next week.

Our best player imo and it sucks we have lost him, I’d love to seen him have a lot of involvement in the box with madge. On the plus side Atleast this way we will get to see what Hastings and madden are made of.
