Our centres and Luc got a lot more ball tonight. Such a far better organised team in attack getting strike players clearly involved.

Be interesting to see if it would make a difference to Roberts game.

I'm sure it would. But where would you play him? In place of Talau if he returns soon?

Probably, Talau made some bad errors tonight, flicking the ball inside was horrendous.

They can't risk Talau in the next game, he looks terrible under the high ball, and is slow. He will get bombed to pieces.

Not sure what game you saw but I didn’t think he looked uncomfortable at all, the flick pass into our goal line was more to do with him thinking he was about to go out, mistake yes but he will learn. I think he may have dropped one more later in the game. But he’s never looked bad under the high ball.

Man oh man Im loving this kid, he is fast becoming my tiger fave and with good reason.

Last night he made 2 plays that just screamed heart and commitment and changed the course of the game.

The first was that absolute banging tackle where he smashed Vaughn a metre from our line to save a certain try.

And secondly he did a run when we were in trouble deep on our line and going nowhere and he literally came off the back fence screaming onto it and got us out of trouble, with no thought of self preservation whatsoever.

What a team player....put the C on him now this is our captain!!

Keen for him to be captain, but not sure he's the vocal type. Sure, he can lead by his actions, but I like the captains barking.

Love him though, mentioned this in the live thread - you can tell he works hard at his game, his goal kicking alone has improved dramatically, and not just percentage wise... his technique has obviously improved tenfold. Had an awkward style before.

His general game as well is on the improve.

A couple of big plays utilising his ample size and strength, reminding me of Lawrence who despite his smaller stature would launch himself into the teeth of defences in helping out from centre.

I would also like to mention his goalkicking. I'm sure this will jinx him, but he's the sort of player you want taking conversions to win games, he's so composed. I agree with others, not since Benji and Robbie in early days have I enjoyed watching a player as much. Just the expectation that he's going to make something happen too. He's so much better than he was last year in every aspect of his game. Seems like the sort of player that is also trying to continually improve.

His improvement in goalkicking got me thinking that Benji maybe never put in the work to get better. He never overcame his inconsistencies in goalkicking, where Doueihi has been much more accurate this year. It's at a point where even if we signed a quality goalkicker I'd stick with Doueihi because the responsibility of it seems to also make him a stronger player.

The guy shows a lot of pride and desire. He's pretty much a quality goalkicker now.

We all kick ourselves when we get something wrong. Douehi is also that man .I respect his disappointment when he misses

Hopefully he proved some doubters wrong tonight. Not gonna harp on about that....

This guy is a player that plays with pride and passion.
Very impressive and hopefully a long, successful career with the Tigers head.
