The Doueihi deal is skewed by the ridiculous contract that Souths gave him. If he weren't already getting $600K for 2021 under that deal I don't imagine many would be saying that we should be paying $600K for him for 2021, or that he would have any right to demand that sort of salary. Those being critical of the club not just leaping in and taking on that salary should consider what kind of salary they thought he was on or would have justified before that $600K figure came out. I seriously doubt anyone would have thought he was contracted for anything more than $400K at the absolute most.

In regards to AD, we are the only team that can give him opportunities in a position that he likes. If we sign him for fullback this year and then move him to 5/8 next year that has to be a lot better than playing on the bench for Roosters or centres for the Storm.

Not paying his current contract is good business. We have a great opportunity for him but he or South's have to come to the party.

Can't remembering playing a game there in FG but was good enough to keep Tedesco on the wing in junior reps...

Doubt he would have the lungs to do it these days..

Training in a posi is a lot different to playing an NRL game let alone week in week out..

I’m not sure what the rules are but I wonder if the reason they have Latrell on a 1 year deal with a 1 year club option is because they can’t fit Latrell for 2021. Once they move some players on they take up the option for the second year. So technically they are under the cap but they know they can’t take up the 2nd year till they make some room.
