Adam Doueihi #227

Well Demps i got it wrong mate
At $450k p.a. he isna bit over priced for the 30 games and 2 tries he has played but i dont think we have paid overs too much.
Go the Tiges

On another note if 4 years is the term it makes Doueihi and Brooks our only contracted players for 2023...lots of space to work with..

So ...Thompson to the wing and Jennings to Centrelink ?

The stability of a four-year contract is also a strong Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon card for Wests Tigers.

Wests Tigers new chairman Lee Hagipantelis has personally met Doueihi and presented the Tigers vision for the club.

Hagipantelis is believed to have played a crucial role in convincing the young gun to return to the club where Doueihi played junior football.

Doueihi played Australian Schoolboys rugby union and S.G Ball for Balmain Tigers before South Sydney signed him at the end of 2016.

Hard to say @Madge but working backwards off the POM's $1.8m over 4 years given Souths have chipped in some for 2020 & 2021 and paid Nov-Jan it would be something like 2020 $350k, 2021 $450k, 2022 $500k, 2023 $500k

Thanks mate i can rest easy now 😳

We could also potentially front load Doueihi this season giving us more flexibility down the road. That is if we arent in the market for anyone else.

Mt first thought was yes that'd be great. And yes, even if he ends up leaving early, we could tack on a little bit now.

My version of not wanting to pay overs anymore is related paying huge $$ to old/injury prone has beens, that want to use WTs as their retirement fund. I welcome the AD signing big time and if it's for slightly higher than expected, well it's probably worth the risk for youth and potential.
