?

Hopefully he follows Hartigan.

Do they work together ? You’d think a lot of his staff would follow him out the door

Not sure on that one but Hala didn't rate Jordan after he did his knee. This is despite the kid working his backside off through rehab, to the point where he was ahead of schedule and knocking over the 100m comfortably under 11 seconds. I know there's more to league than running in a straight line, but Hill had proven himself as a very good winger and finisher in the best Flegg team in the comp.

Can’t give up on a 19 year old doing his knee

No idea why they would let go of Hartigan. With Sheens being made head of football I understand that Hartigan's job has then been made redundant but he should at least be involved in some capacity within the club in identifying and recruiting young talent (a field in which he's shown to be more than competent). And for Sheens to let go of Hartigan and bring back McDonnell... let me just say it's not been a great start to Sheens' return for me

Hartigan is gone because of McDonnell. Hartigan's brother who scouts junior talent for us in Qld also quit last night.

Can you expand on this Willow? The way I interpret what you have said here is that McDonnell has been appointed and Hartigan left on his own volition as a result?

Neither Hartigan or his brother rate McDonnell and Adam in particular was not prepared to take a back seat to Warren the butterball. Having said that, I'm not fussed that Hartigan has gone, personally I don't think he achieved much at all for WT in the way of quality signings.

Well, it seems we're rolling the dice based purely on the judgement of Sheens. The return of his mate McDonnell, is hardly an auspicious start, in my opinion. Now Hartigan booted. Fair to say, I'm more concerned than ever on the strategic directions of the club.

Hartigans way wasn’t working. We could use a dice roll

with Hartigan Pascoe and Lee we couldn't catch a cold how many missed signings was it going to take
one of the three wise monekys gone

We got Nuffie for 4 yrs !

Meh, it’s been this bad for years

I think this is a poor decision, I rate hartigan, but as I said when we decided to stick with Madge that the most important thing was the entire club being on the same page. If Madge and Hartigan can't get on the same page then both of them being here doesn't work and something had to give, it seems it has. All I want is for this club to be successful and that can't happen with people pulling on opposite directions.

So I guess it is in Sheens we trust, our only successful periods have been with tim riding roughshod over the factions in this club, it appears he hasn't lost that ability. I have concerns about his salary cap management but hopefully someone can control that a little.

I'll be onboard but please no Flanagan. lol

Unpopular opinion, Mcdonnell was good at getting good quality juniors in the system.

He was not responsible for recruiting for the top 30 and he's mostly copped flack for that. Also, his son wasn't very good so he also cops it for that.

Well said, a lot like to forget about that.

Someone found all those juniors that left us. I think you'll find it was sheens and McDonnell.

Hopefully they set up keybra type set up at Liverpool and St Greg's.

Don't speak Flanagan into existence!

But agree with you. Only way we succeed is everyone pulling in the same direction.

I would say, from afar it seems like there were too many cooks regarding recruitment with Lee, Pascoe, Hartigan and Marge all attending meetings or commenting - it wasn't clear who made the final decision (which may of expressed itself in great TPJ/Finucane and JAC situations).

Now there's no denying who is making the decisions. SHEENSY.

I get the sense Lee has done a good job here, getting the right senior managers in the football department.

Pascoe next.?

Or pascoe ok if he stays away from the football department.?

Or is pascoe

I don't see Sheens stooping down and reporting to Pacsoe. He'd want to be talking straight to and managing the board directly.

Given that Lee thinks that the chair and ceo don't have an impact on football, whether Lee says to Pascoe you just run the business side. Sheens you report to us on the football side

Yeah I know he would have to structurally to the ceo. But sometimes power dynamics don't align with organisational structures.

The board will want to hear from sheens on football matters. Can't see them happy to hear it second hand through mr relaxed pascoe.

Let's hope so pascoe had more than 3 strikes with football.
