Addo Carr signs with Storm...

Disappointing if we have lost JAC, it wasn't his speed that stood out, it was the fact that he could out-jump opposition wingers and actually grab a high ball…..we've never had a winger that could do that in our 17 years.

You forget Jumpin' Johnny Carlaw.

Let's crucify everybody and his dog on the advice of a "mate of a mate" Good one.

Let's wait and see. You may be having a stroke for nothing.

Agreed. Let's wait and see. If it's true though this club needs a massive kick up the backside.

A 3.5 year deal would suggest we're letting him go in the next couple of weeks.

We've only just started starting the kid. Why would we be doing that if we were about to let him go so soon? There are other backline reshuffles which are possible and we'd just keep him in nsw cup.

That alone suggests it's just rumours. The fact it's posted by some random user that rarely posts doesn't lend a lot of credibility either.

He's had a contract offer from them for a while now. One presumes we've at least offered him something too. If we can re-sign MCK we can re-sign JAC. The money is there. With Lawrence re-signing there's even more space for next season to move things around.

It must also be remembered that there is a 10 day cooling of period for contracts. Even if JAC has signed with the Storm, it may have been as a tactic to get the Tigers to up there offer.

If he has signed and the 10 day cooling off has passed, it is odd that there has been no announcement by the Storm or us.

Well this is what happens when you are paying a 33yr old around $1 million next season , well suck it up everyone !

The storm are paying three 33 year olds a squillion, so that argument doesn't cut it. :crazy

I love the way the storm operate, already have a replacement for Slater in Munster…Kodi Nikorima or Luke Brooks to replace Cronk and they are looking hard for a good young hooker.

I hope he doesnt go.

But for arguments sake, if the storm offered him $250k per year for the next three, would WT still be idiots or should we just match every dollar offered to anyone.

Wants to make sure he continues to earn first grade match payments and bonuses for playing a set number of first grade games

- Fair bit of a difference between 3 potential immortals and a guy who was a good hooker for a bit….

As it stands Who would most youngsters (non Juniors) rather play for??

I hope he stays.

Winning games changes everything for a club.

Do you actually know what a back ended contract is ?
Or is it just convenient to ignore it
Or both?

Given that the Storm just announced the signing of another Fijian flyer, Erevonu Kamikamica, then the Tigers may still be in the hunt to keep Addo Carr.

experts in the Rugby 7's game say Fiji could field 4 sides that would be in the Top Ten. there is so much talent over there. WT's should hire a local Fijian scout over there, rather than just being introduced to the blokes Filter and Johns meet on there surf trips.

He's seemingly a front rower. He's Fijian but I'm not sure about a flying Fijian prop? Scary thought thogh

Gee glad we got rid of this guy!
What a crap player, bad defence, poor attaking player…
