Addo Carr signs with Storm...

I'd say if he partners Kev and the right side, he would do a better job in defensive reads that Nofo is currently doing.

Honestly though if he has or does sign with Melbourne then I would put him back to NSW cup next week because whats the point of developing someone else's player

If this club makes the same mistake (koroibete) by letting JAC go, that will do me

Agree 100%. If we let him leave it'll just show that we are a feeder club and nothing more. It'll prove that we're not serious about challenging in the NRL.

Keeping JAC should be our top priority at the moment along with Woods and Teddy.

Fitler: That was an interesting post try celebration. What did it mean?
Addo Carr: It's a shout out to my family and friends in Prison
Fitler: Oh. Ok. (Quickly changes subject)

Gotta love live TV

You're not the only one.

Can anyone actually confirm factually where his position stands for next year? Or is it still in limbo?

Still like the "yes I've always followed the Tigers - it has been my dream to play for them" - I'll just keep my head down, learn as much as I can and wait for my turn to play in the NRL". Something like, he was quoted as saying.

First club to come along with a few bucks -

Is he going to be another mercenary like Koro? We'll see soon enough.

Hope not.

I thought i'd heard that and then thought he must of said his family and friends in Brisbane. Either we have to sign this guy quick smart for the next couple of years.

Maybe should have signed him before we started playing him, because I think his price has shot up this month.

Nah it was definitely prison. During his post try celebration he put his hand in front of his face with the fingers splayed to symbolise prison bars.
Definitely gotta keep him. He's a Redfern boy (told Fitler during interview) so hopefully he wants to stay near his home and is loyal to us for giving him a shot.

The problem still lies with Moses's groin issues

If Moses can't kick we have no one else that I've seen at the club in the current 17 who can kick goals bar Rankin

You can't go into NRL games with a third string goal kicker , its as simple as that

If someone has a better idea come forward with it , I'm sure JT wishes he has an answer

Unless you drop Moses or Brooks what else do you do ??

But I get the feeling with JT's presso that JAC might be gone , he says rest of the season when talking about him

Thats how I saw it too Happy. JT also seem initially uncomfortable to talk about him. I suspect he is gone.

Oh well. You can't pay overs for wingers.

Really… I'd expect it from happy 'tin foil' but southern...

I work with JACs mums best mate and she said that he's spreading the storm rumour to drive his price up and he only wants to sign with the Tigers. If I'm wrong you can call me a liar, I don't care

If he keeps letting his on-field performance do the talking there's no need for rumours!

Maybe it will show management that he actually is worth signing on a realistic contract, without using another club for leverage…

Well Mr Geo some answers please , your ear is pretty close to the earth at Concord

Has Moses still got a groin issue or is it so he can concentrate on playing his role in the side

Or is Rankin the better kicker now ??

I think this issue at the moment is the most important thing that the clubs need to sort out on field at the moment

Just about everything revolves around this

I don't want to start blowing our trumpet , but our season might still be alive and kicking if we can get our best 17 sorted out

mercenary? mate koro was stuck in nsw cup while our left winger was plodding down the sidleine with a zimmerframe.

JAC has looked completely at home in all 3 first grade and you could say last night he was our best player. Yet i fully expect him to be dropped next week and Rankin on the wing. I dont blame him if he leaves

That is it in a nut shell, after 3 NRL games he already looks the best winger in the club, if JT plays Rankin in his spot next week then he has every right to be peeved and head to Melbourne.
He had to wait way to long to get a start, with the first grade wingers playing out of form and out of position all year, then when he gets a go he shines, only a fool would drop the kid now.

He is 20 years old. I reckon he had already played more first grade this year than he expected. He won't leave because he is not first choice this year. He will leave either for more money or to go a better club.

Yep. This aspect is really the big picture because if Moses can kick it opens up all sorts of options 1-thru-7.

I agree that we simply cannot play without a goal kicker even if only as good as Rankin.

But it is becoming clear that JAC needs to take the field. Even if only for the rest of the year, he brings exactly what we need to the #5.

He's only young and will have the odd bad game. But his positives will far outweigh that.
