Here's a question… If any of you were in charge of recruitment what would be the last position you would fill in the side?

Ok , he has speed but 95% of the time he got absolutely dominated when he touched the ball
He needs at least another 12 months development and a big pre season in the gym
The one thing we can't keep relying on is potential , we need blokes NOW with experience and hard headed mindsets
Im doubting if u watched it Happy. Josh was strong with every carry. Its what surprised me most about his debut. Not sure when he got dominated.
Every time he took a hit up be got picked up and dominated KS , no quick play the balls , rarely landed face down , cmon mate , it was the first thing I noticed
You realize we are talking about JAC not Josh Aloiai
You old blokes just don't remember anything anymore

It would depend on the teams strengths and weaknesses TM88

Anyone else? Nope. Rankin as a makeshift but he's better suited elsewhere. Hunt? Is he a winger or a fullback? Is he any more than a rserve grade player?
Fact is we need 2 wingers for next season and currently only have one. We will need to pay this 2nd winger something, so whatever we are planning to pay him we might as well give to JAC.
As i said before, in a team full of solid but unspectacular players you need some match winners. He could be one of ours, along with Teddy, and to lose him over 120k would be ridiculous. If the Storm were paying him 250k then that's a lot more money but 120 is only a bit above minimum wage…
No use having wingers if you don't have centres to create chances for them
Same can be said the other way around.
No good having centres if you don't have a quality winger outside him.
We have some wingers Sabre , problem is they are playing in the centres

Disagree. He was physically strong.

@Regan said:Storm offered 250K a year for Curtis Scott to get the kid from Cronulla with no first grade experience this year the kid did not want to leave but could not say no to the money so I think if they did make an offer for JAC it would be good coin for him he's a young guy has dreams that need money if they offer alot more good luck to him Melbourne's house prices are cheaper then Sydney

That's actually incorrect regarding Scott, I'm mates with the bloke apparently we approached him but our offer was laughable compared to the other clubs, he was getting offered more to stay at Cronulla but decided to go Storm with guaranteed playing time and an experienced team around him….
JAC would be a loss I think, he shows heart, he puts his body on the line, he takes multiple hit ups (even though he gets man handled haha) and he's got pace something we need at the Tigers we've lacked that pace for a while now.... and if rumours are true we'll be throwing it away again!
But if Melbourne are offering big money we shouldn't invest heavily in a player who's only played a game of first grade let him go if he's asking for to much
