Addo Carr signs with Storm...

I can't imagine the meltdown if Ted or Woods ever left if this is what a guy whose played 1 fg game garners.

Jesus.

The point is that he was obviously just sucking up saying it was his dream to play for the Tigers etc…..

He realised his dream already - playing one game.

Obviously just wants more dough - as for Koro coming home.

ET has already ... no room for a Prima Donna who wanted to leave.

Koro is on the way back to the Tigers.

IF this was true, i don't know why people would be upset with this player swap. Koro is one of the best wingers in the game at present.

The fact Bellamy wants him is enough to suggest he should be kept.

The fact he is a good coach doesn't necessarily mean he has a good eye for talent. I hope our recruitment and retention staff back their own judgment rather than just holding onto people because someone else shows an interest. They would have seen plenty of him at training (much more than Bellamy) and should know how much he's worth to **this[/b/] club with its current depth (as opposed to the Storm with their current depth).**

Also, maybe this is the reason the club look prepared to let JAC walk.

I totally agree. He's a weapon.
Its funny that the club is bashed for letting him go but also gets bashed for being interested in getting him back.

It was reported last week Tigers were $100k short on Koro's asking price so releasing a player on a lower salary would make some sense.

If we get Koro then i'm happy to let JAC go, no camparison in my opinion. One is one of the best wingers in the game, the other is another "potential" player which we have more than our share of.

Don't forget Melbourne are spending huge amounts of their cap elsewhere so the fact they want JAC doesn't mean Bellamy thinks he is better than Koro, it just means they need a budget winger.

I'd be stoked to see Koro back. I don't want to see JAC go but Koro is at this point a proven top quality winger.

I don't want Koro back for what he is supposedly asking. If the Tigers had wraps on JAC and he was cheap, why only sign him for one year? He was using the Tigers as a shop window to sell himself to whoever would pay.

If true, JAC is not in the top 25 and should therefore have his cards marked to not play 1st grade again. To be honest I would promote Karwhin to NSW cup for rest of the year and let Josh play Ron Massey cup

Or we can try win a few games, Kharwin isn't good enough for state cup.

Kharwin has played a few state cup games and hasn't had any real issues at all.

We don't have any wingers coming through the grades at present who look a realistic chance of first grade anytime soon. JAC is head and shoulders above any outside back currently in our system. We don't have any genuinely fast players either in any grade.

He's one we really need to keep. He's a potential match winner and a point of difference from all the plodders we currently have. The guys we have aren't bad, but they're all very simliar, and none of them are very quick. The point of difference JAC would provide would make an incredible difference to out attack and defence.

For 120k it would be madness to let him go. But if he feels he has Rankin, Nofo, Hunt ahead of him and potential reshuffles involving Simona, Milone, Chee Kam then that's a problem. Our team is too imbalanced with players of the same size and skills and it makes us predictable.

Maybe the favouritism in selecting players is starting to resonate with these young players.
I'm not saying that he's ready for ist grade for now, but Josh and the other players see how it doesn't matter how bad our first graders , go we are not looking at our lower graders for the future. They no doubt , have watched the very ordinary games that our halves hand in fairly often ,yet no one else is given much of a chance in the halves. Also, They've seen plodders like Lovett and Milone be retained time after time
If I was a player in our lower grades, I would be asking myself if it was any use being here, or should I look for another club .
It's not as though we have a star studded line up to keep these lower graders held back.
Blokes like MCK must be wondering why they came here.

Pretty simple really, they have either been outbid for the kid services or have another player penciled in for next season.

Its very easy to get your cap into a mess when you start paying overs for a kid who still only a rookie with plenty of question marks

You've never seen Karwhin play, have you?
