Some of you remember how critical of Benchy Marshall I've been over the past few years and despite many of you defending his miserable performances, most of you were of the same opinion as myself.
Finally, we got the result we needed after Potter grew a pair. Something that Sheens was never able to do.
No it's the time to criticise another senior player that's eating up a substantial slice of our salary cap and his form has been terrible in the past few years.
Chris Lawrence!
Now, some of you will say he had some bad injuries which is true but his performances were well below par prior to those hip and hamstring injuries and it must be said that after a fair amount of time on the sidelines and game time, he hasn't been able to deliver at all. Lawrence has always been a 'stiff' type player with limited ball skills and turn style type defense but since his return from that hip injury, these areas are substantially worse.
He has lost a tonne of pace, bombed numerous tries by not passing when there are obvious overlaps - I can recall two bombed tries at Leichardt when he didnt pass to Richards (In my opinion, this is because he does his best not to expose his passing weakness, particularly to his right side), doesnt talk much for a senior player and is a shadow of his former self.

Look at what happened to the side when we got rid of our biggest dead wood, Benchy. Its time, we move on from Lawrence and either use that money to buy someone who can actually play to NRL standards or blood in another junior in the hope he may turn out like Simona. Otherwise, I would prefer a Lulia/Simona combination.
Lawrence is not up to standard and needs to be dropped.
Thoughts?
