Momo was looking very good towards the back end of last year,

He will do for me.

2019 season
PM - 21/28 @ 75%

LM - 98/130 @ 75. 38%

2018 -
LM - 90/117 @ 76 . 92%

Using http://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/ for the stats

Those stats are VERY deceptive...

We took almost every gimme pen kick for goal..i.e. throw overs from close.

Roosters normally always went for tries. I.e. LM got very few gimmes. They also scored a ton of tries out wide. LM had a very high strike rate for difficult kicks.

Mitchell is a vastly better kicker that Momo.

I'm one of the few that think this guy can play. I'll believe it when it's official though thanks.

He’s an excellent winger great speed and can finish. He’s average at best at fullback. If he is being signed as our left winger and he’s subsidised I’m all for it. JAC is another level recruiting both would be madness.

For the record Corey Thompson is our fullback.

If true - i'm over this team - I don't care that we may not have got LM - but to then help the pride of the league out so that they can fit him in is laughable. We are the laughing stock of the NRL. I'm glad I haven't forked out for a membership.

What are you talking about ? LM is going to Souths this year or next ! They want him this year . Johnston is a good footballer . Why not take advantage of the situation. He could be a great footy player . Who knows .

He is 24 years old what the hell is every 1 winging about haha 1 of the fastest players in the league **and is always supporting when breaks are made**

That’s no use to us

if we sign AJ and JAC i think young Talau needs to be the one to hit the pine and miss out he is very green and over hyped a bit

It certainaly gives some weight to Webster saying they’ll be easing Talau along. As it stands, he’s a certain starter round 1, cos options are pretty thin. 1 or 2 signings and Webster’s words become much more plausible.

Rorters scored 108 Tries assuming Mitchell attempted to convert every one of them that still leaves 22 shots at penalty goal

They scored 33 on the left edge 16 centre left 29 in the middle 9 centre right 21 right edge...

So 54 on the edges v 54 midfield or in front..

Can Alex Johnston kick goals..

What are you talking about ? LM is going to Souths this year or next ! They want him this year . Johnston is a good footballer . Why not take advantage of the situation. He could be a great footy player . Who knows

This is the mentality that gets us to 9th every year. For a start you have no idea what LM is doing this year or next. Why make it easier for souths to snare him now - let them fight it out next year with most of the other clubs who will be cashed up. As for Johnston - he is a good footballer in a good side - no superstar and never will be - he will be coming to an ordinary football team. We will see how good he is then.

We are a danger to ourselves when we have cap space. We will give him 500k and Pascoe will try dress this up as a big win for the club. Why not just hold our money and try get an actual star.

Running out of time. We need to fill our roster and spend money to reach the minimum amount in the cap. If we can’t land a superstar, we have to go the next rung down. If we’re signing AJ, you just hope he’s not the only one.

Here's hoping mate, sorry for my rant every one just feel a bit let down. It would be nice to feel like we get a win in the player market here's hoping our time will come.

I posted in the LM thread that he is overweight at the moment . Like 6 kgs. The idea that he’s on holidays who cares , doesn’t really apply anymore to most footballers . It’s a 365 day a year job. I have hopes he will be the same player , but the Owen Craigie stuff is real . That guy was an absolute gun . One of the most talented players you’ll ever see . But he didn’t like the grind of ARL/NRL.
We wanted him sure , but I’m guessing the offer we had wasn’t huge overs as some people have on other platforms have suggested. I’m saying it was market value . Maybe longer years. Because no one leaves 300k on the table . I don’t care what your preferences are.
I’m not that upset . It could be our Canberra, Teddy moment . Paying 1 mil plus for a player who wasn’t that keen , had him then he pulled out . We then sign another fullback and blood some youngsters and we are a force again.

I hope it is not true that we are signing AJ to help Souths fund LM.

They do know though . It’s probably been discussed . So now everyone’s intentions are clear, it’s about maximising the Tigers return because we don’t get him either way
. Is Johnston a net gain ? Yep ! Does that now take our main rival for JAC off the table? Yep ! I don’t see the issue in signing an above average first grader who 2 years ago was the next big thing . And is 24 .

I just thought of something. What if SG has been snooping round on Souths forum, found this scoop and is now trying to pass it off as his own. Nothing would surprise me atm.

No, but he is a bit taller than Cory Thompson.........

We could actually field an entire 1-5 of guys who have played wing at some point next season
AJ
Nofa
Jennings
Momo
Thompson

How many teams can lay claim to that? 😉

I disagree with you entirely - but hey we are both entitled to our opinions. I see no upside in AJ whatsoever. The JAC thing is entirely dependent on Bellamy letting him go first of all an d Bellamy isn't a lame little pussy like our administration. And if we don't get JAC for next year there will be a lot more money around in 2021 from other clubs. Also when the LM saga started and others dropped out we were the only one standing with a pot of gold and a number 1 jersey just for him. We had no rivals then so why would having no rivals for JAC be any different.
