Are you just hedging your bets here? First we're getting Mitchell, then JAC's a sure thing and now we're signing Johnson? Which one is it? Surely not all 3.

If it turns out we only get Johnson I think I'll have to take long walk off a short pier. Apart from having a bit of speed Johnson is bog average! It will end up being just another Jennings-like signing, imo. I thought we were supposed to be moving on from buying these sort of players. Madge's old Souths connections ?

This signing If happens has Madge all over it ..just another waste of space as Jennings .. I said months ago I have no confidence in Madges signings after bringing the plodder of the decade to the club !

It’s safe to say latrell doesn’t want to come here so we may aswell make the best of the situation and get a quality fast ball playing fullback who has been coached by Madge before and knows what he’s in for and still wants to come I’m happy the blokes a beast when he’s fit and healthy

Badly needed pace, our 3/4 line is terrible .

I'm one of the few that think this guy can play. I'll believe it when it's official though thanks.

He’s an excellent winger great speed and can finish. He’s average at best at fullback. If he is being signed as our left winger and he’s subsidised I’m all for it. JAC is another level recruiting both would be madness.

If true - i'm over this team - I don't care that we may not have got LM - but to then help the pride of the league out so that they can fit him in is laughable. We are the laughing stock of the NRL. I'm glad I haven't forked out for a membership.

If Johnston is the best left on the market and he wants to come to the Tigers, why not give him a shot at FB? He is only 24 and would have Corey biting at his heels. Plenty of speed, especially with JAC if he climbs aboard. Great for those little Brooks grubbers behind the defensive line...
