Alex Seyfarth #232

Not all players can be stars and the salary cap doesn't allow a squad of 30 stars. Players on more modest contracts offer good value. This is Seyfarth's niche and anyone doubting his commitment or ability should re-watch the Brisbane game. 50 tackles, provided the final pass for a try and unloaded a number of times. There is a lot of upside to his game and under the new coaching staff, especially Dave Furner, I expect his game to improve. Time for some of you to put the Wiltshire away.

Did you ever watch him in the lower grades. He killed them. He would get smashed there as well. He gets smashed but hits it up on the next hit just as hard.
That's just it Earl, did well in lower grades.
I, like you Earl, agree he is dedicated for sure but I just dont think us pinning our hopes on him is going to work.
I said Gildart was a great signing too so take these comments with caution ha ha.

I hope so I like him.

Classic paws. You pick the one game he actually contributed to and talk about for months while ignoring the other 30 games in which he was garbage and contributed nothing. You did the same thing with Liddle where you went on for months about a chase down while ignoring the rest of the garbage he produced.

Fact is you’re incapable of admitting you’re wrong and seem to like living under the delusional belief that every one of our juniors are stars in the making. Wake up

Who from our flegg team is playing NRL currently? Winning that trophy means nothing in the context of things.
Errr? Ok you’ve got a point Madge. The words I don’t want to hear from Benji when Sheens and Robbie jump off the bus...we need a 3 year plan. 😫

You have to admit though, he played that game under the influence of what appeared to be demonic possession? If we all played like that every week, we win a few games.

I think he would be good in the UK.
He'll be KOE next year imo.
Good for depth though.

Disappointed me last year but who didn't except maybe Joffa.

Sheens may put some polish in his game.
Totally agreed with you and totally agreed with Tonza.
Unfortunately, over the last 12 months of Madge coaching, not one player improved. A lot actually went backwards. Maybe he deserves another chance, like the rest.

So we got treated like a punching bag 2022 and I don't get it.

Why did so many players go backwards? Tamou we kinda expect it yet we see many players reach his age. Occasionally people get a boost but usually it's backwards.

The rest of our squad should have been improving and toughening up.

Madge did some tough pre-seasons. 2022 wasn't one of those.
I am still lost though, Madge + Cayless should have meant a really tough and gritty side. Instead it was watered down cordial.

Tigers huge family sacrifice.

Tigers backrower Alex Seyfarth has reportedly turned down a lucrative deal to move across the Tasman while the Roosters have stolen a prized rugby union talent.

Tigers backrower Alex Seyfarth has reportedly knocked back a lucrative three-year deal to remain in Sydney due to his pregnant wife.

The 24-year-old was reportedly offered a contract with the Warriors to join Andrew Webster’s revamped team according to WWOS.

However, Seyfarth and his partner want to remain close to family for when their child is born.

As it stands, Seyfarth is without an NRL deal past 2023 and the Tigers are reportedly yet to table a new contract.

Report suggest he is no certainty to be granted an extension under Tim Sheens with several young forwards fighting for positions in Leichhardt.

I hope the lad kicks on, he's a good role model.
The new coaching staff might extract some unearthed talent.
