Last night's game he was great, but in all fairness he has been plodding for some time.
Shame he doesn't have runners going with him, which is likely because he doesn't look to pass.
He is tough and a tackling machine. When he runs hard like last night he can be an animal. If he just added offloads he would have a more complete package.
 
He just seems so strong, nearly always standing in the tackle, if he'd get a mistake free fast play the ball or keep the leg drive, just think he could be better.
 
I think he is close to the most underrated, underappreciated player in the Tigers squad. He rarely misses a tackle and it's easy to not realise the total metres he clocks up each game. Recently he has run with more vigour and leg drive, making him a real force to be reckoned with. He does have an offload but I think he's been told to tuck the ball under his arm and charge forward. Nothing else. He should start with Stef on the bench.
 
He has played well last few games, good defence and is certainly making good meters. Still lacks the ability to break the line and or hit space which is probably why he still hasn’t scored a try.

Has definitely found his place in the squad, but won’t be someone who is remembered and talked about after he retires, unless he doesn’t score a try. In which case he will be remembered as a decent player that couldn’t score a 1st grade try or his Name will come up when the topic of try droughts get raised etc.

appreciate he has a fan club but let’s be realistic about his a ability, he is a good defender and can make meters.
 
Twal is one of those guys that every team needs.

Carts the ball up, makes good metres, rarely makes an error and gives the more skilled forwards a chance to use their attacking skills rather than doing the tough stuff.

He cops a bagging here for his lack of attacking skills, but for mine, that's not his role.
