I thought Madden, Simpkin or hoffman were gonna be given a go. Tell me if i'm crazy but i thought he said he was looking to the future. None of that is future except for Douehi playing in the centres.

**Simpkin** deserves a run

Really not many options for Madge when you look at it. People wouldn’t be happy if we played Seyfarth, Clark and McQueen over forwards who are actually contracted for next season?

Of what exactly? He never said there would be huge changes to the team.

He said he'd be looking to the future with his selections, and then he chooses a guy in the halves who isn't here next year, next to a guy who should have been dropped. All he did was change their numbers around.

Plays Grant even though he's not here next year. Plays Taylor even though he's not here next year whilst he omits Blore who apparently is a high priority re-signing?

Also, Mikaele and AD apparently need surgery so why is he playing them still?

It's bonkers. He's either run out of ideas or he doesn't care lol

Like it or not brooks is part of the future for the next few years at this point. Benji shouldn’t be there for sure.

I am hoping Liddle gets bigger minutes this week, Blore doesn’t look fit enough to play more than 15 mins.

Who said they needed surgery? Some randoms on the forum? All players play through injury and deal with it in the off season, I don’t see any other clubs opting to give their guys early surgery. They’ll still be back in time for pre season.

Well if Brooks is the future the future does not look to bright ... what a joke this club is a backbone of a jelly fish !

Brooks is a Dally M half winner. Stella year. Unable to maintain under coaching change for some reason.

If so, what's happening with him?

Saw him on the news training with the main group so he's still around. Best he can hope for is to be added to the top 28 next season. He'll be a cheaper at least.

Hopefully he can resurect his career with us, we need a smokey because it doesn't look like any gun fullbacks are knocking down our door to join the club

Whilst we have some money to spend next year, obviously we need to spend it wisely. Someone like Abbey is going to come cheap and provides depth on the wing and at fullback, maybe in the centres too.
