Aloiai

Need a second rower now McIntyre has gone.

L L Cool J
Blore
Garner

And scraping the bottom of the well
Chee-Kam
Seyfarth (don't know if signed)
Bradley

I don’t think those will be all our options, I still think we’ll get Siro and/or Joe O. Will be at least one signing as we’re only at 27/28. If Aloiai goes, we could pick up two.

Does anyone know if Manly can give WT salary cap money in return for releasing JA.

If cap value was transferable it would be self defeating.

I was implying extra cap dollars.
Instead of a player swap or Manly give us say $100K in cash we get $100K extra cap money and their cap is $100K less for next year.
Is that legal under NRL rules?

If Manly want Aloiai for 2021 I’d be completely disregarding a player trade and request they also take one of Packer, Mbye or Reynolds at full freight. Take it or leave it.

Clears some of our dead wood, and gives us another roster spot and plenty of cap space.

Why would they do that and why would they have a spare roster slot?

Not to be glib, but I can think of a clear reason why they would have a spare slot now.

How about if a club has developed a player for eg. 3 years and wishes to leave early ,the buyer pays %10 on top,and its paid to the releasing club and added to the cap of the buying club . Just an idea.

No..you don't get extra...

No more releasing talk Please Mr Wests Tigers

Did the Eels release Stefano ??

or the Panthers releasing Laurie??

If Josh A wants to go, he is free to do so after season 2021

I am absolutely sure your terms would be rejected. You may not like Manly but they are not idiots.

Lol. It wasn’t me bud. They may reject it, but I definitely think it’s a good scenario for us to pursue. They have something we want, and they need someone decent to cover for AFB, so if they’re desperate enough to get him a year early they might entertain the idea. It’s just a perfect opportunity to try and move one of these ridiculous contracts on.

They might not be idiots, but Humphrey is their CEO.
We all know what happened when he was in charge of WT.

Get Tyran work for his money.

You want JA at Manly, we want X player. If you can't Tyran get JA to training in the
right frame of mind or the reporters can attend your head office.

We will get the outcome we want from his manager. $ is the international language. It will motivate him. Obviously our recruitment team know what is acceptable and once met, Aloiai can be on his way. Win win.

Yes he was on a development contract, club has said they'll make him an nrl player post-humously

Manly/Tyran to provide us with a swap, or extra cap space would be the only options.

No I’m pretty sure he was in their top 30? They just gave him a player number as if he debuted in the NRL (like what we did with Mosese). RIP
