Anasta signs with Wests Tigers for 2 years

Great signing. A player with brains, heart and loads of ability. A clever ball player with a good kicking game and strong defence. Looking forward to seeing him in Wests Tigers colours next year

Clever buy IMHO. He will help enormously in a number of areas that we have been weak in. I haven't seen Sheens' this busy for ages or so early in the player market. I think that he is starting to understand that we can't keep playing like this every year with the players we have. It seems like we have to make a charge at the finals every year instead of being consolidated in the top 4 nearing finals time. Our early season form is very ordinary most years.

For to long we have tried to manufacture someone to compliment Benji's game & I for one think Anasta will provide the stable influence that Benji needs to make him a great halfback.

The no.1 is their for Moltzen to make his own, but with Robbie at 9, Benji at 7 & Anasta at 6 that looks like a solid combo for me.

Go the Tigers, 2012\. Worry about the rest when it happens.

Sydney Roosters skipper Braith Anasta will play for Wests Tigers next season after agreeing to a two-year deal with the NRL club on Friday.

Off contract at the end of the season, Anasta's future has been the subject of much speculation, with the Roosters seemingly not keen to hold onto the 30-year-old, who has been with the club since 2006.

Anasta's manager Greg Willett said he had been in talks with the Tigers for a couple of weeks, who view the former NSW Origin representative as an ideal replacement for departing back-rower Gareth Ellis.

1974semi final you are a goose! Ellis and tequiri won't be here next year of course we need to have a plan in place for next year!

Don't you remember when sheens came he had a 5 year plan and we won it in the third year.
