I don't see how this guy is our starting 5/8 over someone like Austin. It was a pathetic performance from him and the rest of the team.
 
Potter is really under pressure now,Anasta is poo,Thompson,Patterson,Lawrence,Lulia,Farah and Koro were pathetic.

I too thought Thompson went okay with limited opportunities.

He was bit culpable in the Witt try in standing off Widdop but wasnt alone.

thats half the problem, he didnt do much at all today, for asenior 5/8 who is meant to be mentoring brooks, a knock on and about 3 kicks out on the full is not a good impression, otherwise did NOTHING for his pay check all game, woeful as per usual
 
I never understand why people want him in the team. Veteran presence, all the rubbish people say when a player is lucky not to be playing Under 16's standard ball. He does nothing well and I can't believe people actually liked the signing in the first place. If we want to play someone because they are old just sign Joey Johns or Darren Lockyer, not that they will be better, but at least they will sell seats.

Sadly, Blake Austin isn't the answer either and Moses isn't ready. We just have to deal with it.
 
Lawrence wasn't 2 bad don't forget he's had some bad injuries last few yrs and there finally behind him in wks 2 come he'll b good and well be getting few key players back in nxt few wks don't write us off yet ok we were bad 2day but only game one

Just have a look at his performances last year. I can't explain why people thought at his age he would improve this year. It's hardly a surprise. Austin should be at 6.

Correct. Anasta was exactly what was expected. He shouldn't be in the team however if Farah and Brooks carve it up Anasta at 6 is fine. His defence is solid and he doesn't stuff us up.

That's rubbish mate he doesn't look like a centre he has no pace no fend no footwork. Simona straight in for leluia for Chris not sure. We in for a tough year boys looked tired bordering weak James gavet is a back rower not prop sue had no time out there and should of started woods Farah lets just blame it on the boils Anasta we'll bring in Austin can't be losing anything there. Teddy great performance best on field
