Anyone heard Moltzen moving on.

I don't start rumours, only hope that others can either confirm or tell me differently.

Recently heard on the grapevine that Moltzen was being courted by the Rabbitohs. No, my sources are not insiders or anything like that. My two sources are untested. However, makes some sense given that Sandow is almost certainly going to the Eels next year, so they will be on the lookout for a clever number 7.

I personally would have him in the top 6 at the club and would never let him go.

Someone please tell me that there is nothing in this…....

Moltzen is not in the best 2 halfbacks at the club,he is not in the best 10 fullbacks at the club,no big loss,we should be chasing Hopoate,he is a star.

With Sandow leaving the Rabbits at the end of 2011, I'd say it only rumour as I cant see them waiting another year to get Moltzen. Moltzen is contracted until the end of 2012… I really cant see the club letting him go early considering he owes us a year.

As to you rating Moltzen in the Top 6 @ the Tigers, brother.... What are you smoking?

wouldnt surprise me. he is being criminally used in the wrong position and believe he would get a starting spot in the halves elsewhere

This guy really isnt worthy of all these threads, its becoming a joke

hehehe

As I said before he is the 2nd choice five-eight and not top 2 in any other position at this club. (except utility)

As you said, he is not worthy of all these threads.

It could explain why sheensy is trying so hard to find him a permanent position in the squad.

No one would blame Molz for going elsewhere to get a game in the halves. That's what he is best at and with Miller coming through here too, I think we easily have the halves covered now. I honestly hope he does pursue something like that and absolutely kill it (unless it's against us of course).

The bloke deserves a starting spot in the halves somewhere in the NRL, but he isn't better than Lui or Benji. With no injuries, he knows he would only be the number 14.

Its a tough one with Moltzen. Sheens seems him as a fullback and with Lui probably a better halfback, he could look to move to Souths if he is looking for a spot in the halves.

I was hoping that Moltz could nail the fullback spot, but i want a fullback that will go nuts and be pound for pound our toughest….....Moltz doesnt look like he has that. So IMO, that leaves him without a place in our top 17.

I'd hate for the Tigers to hold the kid back, and thats exactly what i think is happening. He needs to look after himself. I just hope if he does leave, he goes to a club that wants to play him 5/8.

Souths would look ok with
1.Roberts
6.Moltzen
7.Finch
13.Sutton

Heard last night that Maguire may be bringing a few of the Ex Melbourne players with him Lima and Hoffman are the 2 I heard as well as Finch

i hope we keep him. i think we should just try him in the centres. he would go better there than fullback, and if lui or marshall got an injury then we could move moltzen into the halves

i think some people are jumping the gun… i think some people are forgetting he is back after a pretty serious knee injury..
some people are pretty blinded as well
was only last year people were screaming for him to come back early
was only early this year they wanted him as the half back
what are u expecting for the guy this early?

does it matter if they are?
but no im not aiming it at anyone in particular.. i think he is coping flack that he prob doesnt 100% deserve…

Hopoate?
based off what? 3 or 4 games that he has killed it?
what if Moltz has a blinder for the next 4 to 6 weeks.. do we then sign him for life?

people need to base performance on a wider scale rather then 3 or 4 games.
geez if we based if off limited games we would have lost half the team
