Depends on how Api pulls up after SOO1 as Sheens may name him on the bench and give him limited minutes. Simpkins only got a run on Saturday night at the back end of the game and Api stayed on.

Didn't have to wait 13 years for Steve Smith to make a call on him being the best since Bradman. We knew like 5-6 years in. Api is also that good, not far off Cameron Smith. He may not win a premiership here, but he will dig us out of this hole. Remind me in a few years if he achieved nothing here. In fact, I bet NSW will win the series with him as a star. I bet you're all over him then.

Well I’m a QLDer for starters so no, I’ll be shit talking him lol…
He is very good, by seasons end I anticipate him being one of our best ever signings. But Cam Smith is another level. I honestly think a lot of RL people still haven’t fully grasped how good Smith was.

Smith is the greatest player ever. He should be the next immortal. Penrith were coming for them in the second half of the 2020 GF. He calmed them down and won them the game.

A prime example is Api holding the 9 for NSW is absolutely massive for the Club. It shows & entices players they can keep their rep jerseys if they sign with the tigers. Well deserved reward for the skipper. Stoked for Big Stef too.

It's a possibility. He's still too young to contemplate retirement. Would need to get through at least one more contract. In the pre-season he was talking about how Robbie Farah was teaching him things he hadn't even considered. Sounds like he still wants to learn and play the game.

If we can spend some money for a really experienced half, then we'll be blazing in the spine. Wakeham doing a pretty decent job though.

Amazing to watch this bloke go about his business in person yesterday. Particularly on the defensive side of the ball. He did not stop running all game, tackles so hard for a smaller bloke. But also just organises the middle so well.

Coaching yes, but maybe not necessarily with us. Think that’s a fair way off yet, I’ll be happy if we get him to extend.
Played a solid game last night, lots of tackles and an opportunist ( if not lucky) try. Only weak spot I thought was dummy half runs.
That’s where a fresh Cook could do some damage. Think it’s almost certain they’ll go back to 2 hookers next game.

Huge credit to our man. The extra efforts from Api a few times tonight, 48 hours after playing 80mins in Origin shows why he’s the Captain of this Team. His Efforts and Leadership is unbelievable. It's the little things that matter.
