Don't think anyone needs to apologise IMO.

But anyway, we've seen these performances before. They mean nothing until they can keep doing it, every week. They couldn't even back it up from the first half tonight.

I'll enjoy the win, we played well no doubt. But do it again, and again, and again - then and only then I'll believe in a change.

Side note: Simpkin should still have been on the bench.


I was simply defending Madge from one particular arm chair critic who suggested Doueihi wouldn’t or couldn’t perform as well for our team as he had at 6. Again, not looking to mention any names or start some petty crap.

It’s demonstrably false that Madge has no idea how to select a first grade rugby league team - no Sheenius needed.

I had no real issues with the AD move, I did question no Simpkin and thought it was unfair for Stefano and Cini to be dropped.

But regardless, my point is we could have fielded the exact same team as last week and played the same as we did tonight.

It's WAY too early to suggest it's the team selection that won us the game tonight, it needs to be backed up before we can say "oh yah that's our best team".

I'm not anti Madge FYI - nor am I pro, I'll wait to see how we go for the rest of the season to make up my mind on that.
