Apparently we're interested in Hayne

^^ agree with both of you Milky & Nelson re. too much $$$ for a centre but Hayne isn't a 5/8 & I wouldn't want to move Teddy. Just don't see any other position for him in our team. Unless we put him on the wing with a licence to roam - again the $$ issue.

We're better off spending the cash on 2-3 established hard-heads.

If we sign him, he has to play at fullback. Excels in broken and second phase play, needs plenty of room to run to be effective. Not sure if shoving Teddy into the centres to accommodate Hayne will work out for the best though in that Teddy will have huge offers thrown at him to play fullback elsewhere.

It's all well and good that we're interested in Hayne, but he has to be interested in us too. I very much doubt he'll end up anywhere other than either back at the Eels, or Easts. You watch the NRL bend over backwards in order to help Pawwa accommodate him.

Yep 100%.

He'd be good for Newcastle or the Gold Coast but if we are not the last club that needs Hayne then we are close to it.

Roosters pulled out and there's no way eels can afford him they're over for next year as well apparently and they still gotta upgrade Semi and Norman's contract

SEMI IS ON 300K A YEAR!!!!!

Don't think the Nrl will help Parra out after all the drama it's either he goes to one of the 4 clubs or he goes to rugby

Yep and Cronulla, Easts, Canterbury, Manly and Brisbane always find money to sign whoever is on the market, T23\. The NRL couldn't do enough to help bring Sum Burgess back.

I have no doubt that the Eels are also looking at who else they can offload to accommodate the return of Hayne. We should be sounding out Gordon to have a run on the wing next year and be guaranteed an 80% conversion rate. The "no comment" may as well have said "the axe blade is still sharp."

Norman is up for renegotiation next year, isn't he?

Id be trying to squeeze out hard hitting forwards from other clubs, once our pack sizes up against others results will come. As long as Sironen, Halatau, Lovett etc. are still in our pack we will get no where…

8\. Woods
9.
10\. Grant
11\. Sue
12\. Lawrence
13\. Taylor

14\. Seumunafangi
15\. Chee Kam
16.
17.

9, 16 and 17 need to be brought in from other clubs

****

**Apparently we're interested in Hayne…**

..so that's the headline....it doesn't surprise me one bit....which club wouldn't be interested...the REAL headline would read ****

**Hayne is interested in the WT..**

.but we shall never see that one...

How old is Tolman now? He's an honest workhorse.

We're stocked in that department, we need some impact in our pack. He's a good fit with the Dogs because they have guys like Klemmer, Kasiano and Beastwood for impact.

I think we've done our old trick and pinned our future on a kid who hasn't even played first grade yet Milky in Liddle.

Should still try and snare a good quality hooker while he matures. I would like to see Cherrington get another go at some point before we throw him on the scrapheap.

2 yrs out of the game and will be 29\. I don't know why everyone thinks its a given he'll return the same player.
