Yea, that's why he made the test side. God forbid if Wests left it up to you Stryker you would put the original offer of 2013 back on the table again to try and woo him back. It doesn't surprise me you still think he's brilliant though.

Who are Wests?

Wests are a part of a merger which are paying the bills at the moment.

Well people I have stayed clear of this thread mainly because I did say in an earlier thread that we would either win by a small margin or get thumped,so the result didn't surprise me..

Having said that,I will say that for the last month or so it has been regularly reported that Robbie is taking a step back and letting the young halves take control of the games. In last nights loss and in my opinion Robbie new Brooks and Moses were in trouble and tried to take over control again..It is time Robbie starts leading this team around the park again as the young fellas can't dominate a game yet because of inexperience..But we have been over this before with much heated debate…While we are training these kids then you have to expect hidings like last night,it's going to happen wether we like it or not,it's the gamble the club has taken and that's the way it is going to be for quite awhile yet..Robbie played well last night, his error did not influence the result one bit,Stevie Wonder could of seen Robbie was trying his best..And just for good measure Rowdy played a very solid game and was robbed of a try..just my opinion, cut me to shreds if you like.... :smiling_imp:

I think their are about four good teams and the rest are all potentially bottom four teams and at the end of the season their will be very little between 8th and 14th, maybe a win or two. The scary thing for us is we have had a good injury run and we have SOO season coming up. We are still in the mix for bottom of the eight but probably probably around 12th is more likely.

Under JT he will never justify his reported $900,000 price tag but thats not his fault or the fault of the current administration for that matter.

I don't think that the coach is too blame for this. I just don't think Robbie is that gun player that he once was. He is still a great player but he isn't worth the top dollar level.

Hap,as much as you dislike what is happening with the team, sole responsibility can't just rest with Farrah..young halves, new structure and inexperienced players are all going to affect an outcome of a game…and remember Robbie has had to step back from controlling the games...it's not all his fault...look at it as an experiment, give it time and see if it works,if not let's go back to the drawing board, hell we have done that before, many times...

No wonder Robbie needs to take a back seat

The first time he stepped up ….................

The rest is history repeating itself

Over and over

Farah is the Tigers greatest ever player , but he has killed this side and probably cost us a premiership

Too often he overrides everything that coaches are trying to put into place

I can't believe that people can't see the only thing that was keeping us in the game last night was us staying in the arm wrestle and Farah thought otherwise , screwed the pooch and then he becomes blameless

Some people who I thought knew something about Rugby league have taken a few steps backwards in the last 12 hours

I'm not blaming JT at all.

When Robbie signed his contract a few years ago he was easily our best player and was coming off one of his better SOO series.

At that time we relied on him heavily for everything in attack and we won so many games on the back of that.

So when he signed that contract under Potter's tenure the $900,000 was probably justified.

However 2 years later we are now playing under a new coach with new structures where Robbie is being asked to be more passive and not so heavily involved.

He is no longer our go to man and that for me means he is no where near worth $900,000 a year anymore, particularly as he ages and slows down.

In his current role, I honestly think that even $400,000 is a tad much for Robbie.

 i know the KKK thing was a joke Happy.

I just meant stop trying to make it as if I am just defending Robbie at every opportunity i get.

I have honestly been very critical of Robbie not just on this forum but with my other mates all year. He isn't the player he once was and I don't think he ever will be again..

But i just don't think it's fair to blame the loss on one single player based on one error that amounted to nothing. Especially when there are more obvious reasons for why we copped a bashing.

Although nothing to special, I reckon Robbie's last two matches have been his better ones this year and thats going off the replay of both games.

I'll rephrase what I said. I don't believe that Taylors structures are stopping Robbie winning us games. I just think that he is getting older and losing some pace.

I'd still definitely have him in our team and I reckon he is a great player. He just isn't the player that he once was.

Amounted to nothing

Another set of six in our red zone ,Taupau's error another set of six in our red zone ,Patty kicking off out on the full ,another set of six in our red zone

Amounts to an extra 18 tackles against a team we barely were hanging in against

But we were still hanging in and that's the point

Stick to the coaches game plan and its 6-0 , 8 minutes later 22-0

Course it meant nothing in the whole scheme of things

I agree ! He is on the wrong side of 30 and unfortunately all good things must come to an end as shown by the Australian side last week.

Farah has his mind on Origin as well and the reason he knows he will be there for game 1 is probably adding on him not playing to his full potential (just saying).
He is definitely not playing to his consistent Best.
