It's so typical of us to put down our own. The people putting him in the team at such a young age do know a thing or two about talent. Nut unless his stardom is immediate, he's not good enough - or even rubbish. If there's one thing we as a club are good at, it's nurturing talent. So give it time.

Absolutely. He's a good young player. I'd like to see Madden brought into the 17. Time shortly for Reynolds to move aside and the next generation exposed to the NRL. I have a feeling Madden is going to be a really good player. He reminds me of a former Qld half.

He strengths at wing atm are his carries and he ok hinder high ball and can get over close to line. What I’ve seen a better wing than centre.

Still don’t know his position but think forward is the end game.

But you expect a bit more from someone at this level

According to zerotackle he has made four line breaks but hasn’t made one in the past two weeks.

Personally, I think when he has found a little space he runs straight and hard but doesn’t show some of the footwork you might expect from a top flight winger. I reckon he will adapt with experience.

Him scoring try’s in the corner are considered line breaks, even though they really aren’t. He’s yet to split the defence open. Not criticising him btw.

That one at the 33 sec mark when he catches the ball on the outside then steps on the inside mid catch is pure class

If we had CT out there tonight the Novacastrians probs would have reached 50

This kid is no where near Thompson ....if we are releasing CT we need to be upgrading no equals or in my opinion worse

Who cares it is his debut ...look at Brooks debut .....Blores debut

Can people not continue making ridiculous excuses for this club

Our recruitment on the whole still hasn't improved

I think it’s a bit harsh to judge him based on a few errors tonight. He’s copping the Reece treatment which I thought was also harsh.

They simply need time and regular games to develop. But patience is in short supply atm which is understandable.

I’d be giving him a run at centre tbh. That looks to be his preferred position & TT has been solid on the wing for us so far

His nickname will be Hanoi ...he will get bombed every night after that performance

You practice ......You put bombs up for yourself and take them over and over again

You get a wooded area and put bombs into the trees so you get used to taking bombs in traffic

Trees don't give a crap if they get sent off

Do you take a ladder with you to gets the ball out of the trees?

I still think Benji offers more at five-eight than JRey regardless of age and with the emergence of Harry and the return of Jacob, JRey may struggle to see game time.

Not sure what happened against the Dogs but he only played for 20 minutes?

It's a shame how much more impressive young players from other systems look when compared to our own.
We have a lot of work to do you make sure the batch of young stars we have recruited can succeed.
