He did alright, would like to see him in the centres but suspect he'll stay on the wing for a bit. It poses interesting selections heading into next season as I can't see Talau staying on the wing, Momo will be back and we have Hoffman and Cini still on the books who are also centres.
Kepaoa made some strong one on one tackles. He is very strong and quick. I hope Maguire gets him into the right centre position sooner rather than later. Kei, Rizk, Talau imo are all ahead of Cini.
I went out to Henson Park to watch Ryde Eastwood play Sydney Shield. Ryde Eastwood have a bye next week and will finish minor premiers. However, they were up 30-6 and then it was 30-28 with 5 to go before scoring on the bell 36-28. Defence up the middle in the second half was poor and if they play like that they won't make the grand final at Bankwest in 3 weeks time.
Our centre Regan Hughes was strong again and is a real talent. I hope WTs are keeping him in mind for next year! Rizsk injured his hamstring last week and was out. Will be a good battle next year between him and Kei.
Curtis Wilson went quite well at fullback and kicked a few goals.

I was there as well yesterday hahaha...
Ryde looked shocking in that second half. Uni were steamrolling them.
And TBH I couldn't see any of those Ryde players being 1st grade standard in the coming years. Solid players no doubt, but nothing special really stood out.
I did hang around for the Glebe/Burwood match.
Number 11 for Glebe (Myles TAUELI) really stood out. Absolute unit and is a really hard running edge backrower. Got a lot mongrel in him too...
Yes agree defence was awful in the second half as I said. However, if you saw them the week before when they absolutely flogged the comp leaders and saw their defence you wouldn't think they could be the same team. Not sure what changed in the second half other than some terrible complacency.
Not sure how you could say Regan Hughes doesn't stand out. Scored 3 tries last week at centre and had scored a double at lock the week before. I'm pretty sure you will hear more about him.
I'm going off purely what I saw yesterday. Regan looked good in patches but he'd need to add a bucket load of bulk in the coming years to survive the top grade.
