I'd like to see Simpkin get a run next year, but I won't be disappointed if he doesn't.

Really? Have you actually thought about how you see the hooking position working out?

Do you see Liddle playing 80min for even a single game? Let alone a whole season! If not then what’s the other option...Reynolds?

I think if you really stop and think about it, Simpkin has a huge role to play next season.

After the end of last season, I'm fairly confident Liddle can go 80. But it's a fair point you make; our other hooker options are dreadful.

Fitness is not a problem for Liddle. However for maximum impact, expect to see Simpkin in there at some point.

Haven’t seen him without his shirt on at all. Just an observation I made when he was a ball boy in our games last year, looks a big boy but didn’t look to have that muscle definition you’d expect from a kid ready to play firsts. Either way I’ll be happy to see him play. I still think he’ll do well and if you say his developed even more since than well good.

He may have a huge role. We need two hookers. I like Liddle but there is no way he is playing 80 minutes consistently for us.

He won't even turn 20 until after NEXT season's GF.

Harry was 22 and had developed an NRL body.

Hookers simply don't play NRL before 21. Name the last one who played reg NRL before 21 and did not break down?

People need to lower their expectations IMO....at least for a couple of years.

I'm amazed ......everyone has seen him play so many games playing Colts in Qld Cup .....


If your expecting Harry Grant ..it won't be that good ...kid needs time ...I'd say 18 months until he will be ready to replace Liddle

Whatever club he may go to wouldn't be a step forwards ..he isn't ready yet ...you are asking him to jump from a Maiden to the Melbourne Cup ...give him time

We have the perfect set up with Liddle starting and Simpkin learning from the interchange. Some teams are so lacking in talent in the 9 Jersey that you can almost guarantee approaches from other clubs. I'll predict now we will be fortunate to hold onto both for a season. Big money offers will pour in via managers,. The difference from Aloiai, Matterson plus the 'loyal Nofoaluma' playing his contract negs out in the media, is both Liddle and Simpkin appear to be well grounded and have a belief in WTs.
