backline needs a spark

sorry to say, same rubbish different year.
the spark is not there from brooks.
put laurie at half, leave douhie at 5/8 and charlie stains at fullback.
one think for sure laurie will go forward and force the rest of the backline to go forward rather than this standing still catching and passing, under7's stuff.
He will have have the opposition guessing!

I'm....yeah im trying to rack my brain to figure out who the issues are for us attacking wise and my main issue as everyone's is lies with Luke Brooks.

The bloke is not a 7 he is solely 100% a 6 simple as that he's not an organisational 7 he's a running 6 when he's attacking the line and running the ball he's golden will break the line that's great for a 6 a 7 needs to steer the team around the park give directions.

The amount of times today I saw Api look at both Brooks and Adam and screaming "WHAT ARE WE DOIN?!" was astounding.

Nofo needs to go the dude is cooked he offers nothing in attack and is a liability in defence id rather throw Junior Tupou on the wing who is a genuine attacking threat instead of a crab who is scared to get tackled.

As long as brooks is at 7 we will continue to flounder

I agree with the idea that our backline has no spark. The Knights also had very little spark and most of it was from Gamble but they had Ponga out.

We need a star player. The only guy I see who has the ability to really spark the team is AD but he was terrible today.

Brooks is a 6 and can be a very good one, with the right 7 like Moses or george williams next to him Adam ain't a 6

I don't want Moses even though we were terrible today. I'm not writing AD off just yet either. I think him and Brooks are basically running halves.

AD has a contract for next season. Brooks is playing for his career. That should be Brooks baseline game.

Forgot Brooks waving his hands above his head when no one was running onto the ball.

Brooks running it on the 4th multiple times was terrible but even then not once did AD and Laurie step up - both went missing big time today.

Reynolds is off contract in 12mths offer him the kitchen sink plus more

I don't think we are getting Moses and I can't see the club committing to a long term contract for Brooks.
