A fair few injuries still obviously which has weakend the back line fractionally but a good side nevertheless.

Flanno would be either recovering from injury or in the NRL side it would seem

Well, that takes a couple out of contention for the WT team.

Thats a strong side for a NSW Cup team.

I know. I was expecting to see Brown and Mataka in firstgrade this week.

I thought Mataka may have snuck his way onto the bench in FG. I can only assume Mark Flanagan has hopefully snared a spot, and Fitzy will most likely be the utility on the FG bench. Hopefully BRET can take down Newtown in round 1 all the same.

Also on a side note Benson Toupou gets a bench spot for the Dogs this week. Seems he is developing slowly like many had hoped he would during his time at Tigers NYC.

Looking through all the sides the Storm will be a real force this season once they get their NRL squad at full strength. For round 1 they are lacking a little forward penetration but that will change soon enough

Weird, Newtown's bench forwards are better than those starting, Balmain should win this game comfortably IMO. The class of the halves and the power of Gower and Schirnack will prove to much for the Jets.

btw isn't Cowan normally a fullback ?

Cowan is the everywhere man. He will slot anywhere in the backline and do the job asked of him
