Bateman, Klemmer

Every single time these guys take the field they are both in our worst 4 or 5 players. Often being the absolute worst two.

Klemmer is at his prime age yet is regressing at record rate.

And Bateman, well honestly what do you say? This guy is the worst player in the NRL. He simply makes us winning more and more difficult with every appearance.

I honestly can't watch another Tigers game that John Bateman plays.
Benji needs to show how badly he wants us to succeed. It starts this week by naming Bateman and Klemmer in reserve grade. If both are in the NRL then he can't make the tough calls.

Huh ? No question that Bateman was in our top 3 players tonight.

Bateman was the second best forward on the field after Pole. A couple of late errors. Best game he has played for us this year.

Bateman was ok overall (for him). His first 2 runs were pathetic and got manhandled, his 3rd he threw a risky offload that went forward but the ref let it go. He let Wishart run straight past him which lead to a try (he has done that all year), he took numerous wrong options going the blind in the 2nd half, he dropped the ball late for no reason. As a leader his game was disgusting. If a rookie with upside played like that then yea, ok maybe you stick, but this guy is detrimental to the team in a massive way as an experienced leader

You picked the wrong night to be calling out Bateman. Sure, he didn't finish well, but he got on top of Blore tonight, which from all reports has not been that often since he was allowed to leave.

Just to be clear, I judge Bateman on being an international, our vice captain, and one of our highest paid players.

For his experience he let's us down everytime he takes the field.

If Sam Fainu had the exact game Bateman had tonight I would be saying "stick with him, he is young and will get the lapses out of his game and improve", but this isn't a 20 year old rookie is he, so he shouldn't be judged as such.

For what he is, a highly paid, experienced international leader he is a let down to youngsters trying their hearts out.

Yet he made Stef his [This word has been automatically removed] a few time man handling him
That may be true, but haven’t seen our back rowers in NSW Cup ? They are a million miles away from being NRL players and there are next to no decent back rowers available to recruit for next season.

We lost by 12 points. John Bateman, our vice captain, international second row leader cost us 2 tries.

Yet we are saying he was good?

I'm sorry, but being reasonably solid throughout the 80 minutes but coming up with plays that costs us 12 points isn't the level that is expected by an international. Excusing his lapses that happen every single week is why we suck. We have to react to this crap, not excuse it because a player was decent otherwise.

I do agree that overall his game was ok, one of his better ones, but he still comes up with that horrible dropped ball, that horrible missed tackle. Both cost us 6 points. The doffrmerence in the scoreline.
