Mitch Pearce always carves us up

What’s he paying for man of the match?

... and Pearce will be playing his 300th game, our only chance is if he gets roughed-up by his banner like our halfback.

I didnt expect us to win either of our opening 2 matches and quite possibly only be 1-3 after 4 games. However i did expect a more resilliant display this week as compared to last week instead we played worse.
We will not win the spoon or even be equal last like we were when JT was coach, things will get better even if it takes a few weeks.Last week our 2 worst defenders were Garner and BJ at least Garner improved a lot unfortunately BJ got worse and he deserves a stint in the reggies.

Knights will be tough at home! Plus they have a HUGE forward pack! Glad musgrove is back, swap him for Chee Kam! Worried about Joey and aj on the left. Bradman best will stroll through. The most disappointing thing in the first two games has been our attack.

Also for the people saying we are getting the spoon relax the other teams haven’t played 2 top table teams, besides this is the last time we play the raiders or roosters till semis 😉

Made for bad reading last night, Fox running a stat for "all time top try-scorers vs Wests Tigers", I can't recall if they've ever done it with such interest for another side.

Basically once the contest was over Fox were more interested how many tries Brett Morris could score.

Anyway, Top 5 I think was Gasnier (of course, by some distance), then Brett Morris, Daniel Tupou, Mitchell Pearce... can't remember #5. But it was a reflection of a decade of butt-kickings handed out to us by the Roosters.

I dont think we r spoon worthy yet

However i am in a bit of a puddle with belif in the tigers after the gane yesterday

CAN we not have anymore sunday gamrs lol

A loss is one thing

But when its monday next day 🤫🤐🤐🤐

Rapana would be high up on that list. Joey and Rapana carved us up for 3 years straight.

Joey is still carving us up but from the inside.

Bought into the pre season hype and had us sitting around 8/9th. Bottom 4 for sure now

Started a thread after the Manly game last year that we will be favourites to win the spoon...
and I still bought into the hype. They reel us in every year. It's like going back to an ex who keeps cheating on you than promising you to be better. Over and over again..

I think we are right in it. Broncos, Cowboys, Saints, Manly and us.

I think most of those sides show a better level of commitment than us and we might struggle to avoid it this year.

Calm down. We’re not getting the spoon. Never have, never will.

As bad as we’ve been, we’ve played two top 4 teams. I actually think a small silver lining will be that playing these sides early on will put us in good stead going forward.

I’ll be very interested to see how next week plays out. Knights have played Dogs and Warriors first two rounds. Results aside, we are way more battle hardened already. It’ll just come down to how badly our confidence has been rocked.

It’s an interesting way of looking at it. I wonder if we can learn anything at all from our first two games. If yes, then there is still hope. If no, then we are on our way to our first spoon.

Yes. Replace the whole backline except the fullback. Keary made a fool of all the others. Start with BJ then Brooks.

BULLDOGS?

They would have beaten us today. No team has looked worse than us to start the season.

That's what's most disappointing. In almost all other years we've always at least been able to start the season well, with big efforts and usually a win. This year has just gone another level down than where we left off last year.. Things are looking pretty hopeless.
