I dont want to be negative but I dont think he should be in our side in 2011\. Dont get me wrong, I like him as a clubman and as a player, and his enthusiasm is second to none, but he just doesnt offer us anything noticeable. He is extremly slow and his hands arent great, and he doesnt have size on his side. Im gratefull for the effort he has put in the last few years, but I just think we have better options.

I know fatigue, 100 mins , extra games etc etc can be said but in the last 3 games it has become increasingly evident of other sides quicker men getting into dummy half and gaining 10-15 metres easily, particularly in that last 30\. And once someone does one, theres the obvious chain effect and you end up having 3-4 good runs in a row.

Brown, Ryan, Ayshford are all quite slow and while all have their own attributes, dont offer alot of pace, and last night for example Nightingale, Morris, Boyd, Cooper were getting in there and running us ragged. Lawrence has pace but isnt really one who goes looking for the ball (even other than these last 2 weeks). Maybe somthing to think about next year with Daniella, Moltzen coming back, or maybe any other options.

Agree with your post Beau also struggles sometimes at judging the corner when going for the line and runs infeild and Benji or Blake dont seem to have much confidence in him but in saying that there have been some games where Beau has played out of his skin and justified his selection he just doent seem to back him self.. Put a quick guy on Benjis side or even the tank and watch them reak havock!! but i wouldnt be calling brown slow he ran down Gordon, Ayshford also needs to learn to pass the ball but when Mckinnon is back to full fitness and learns our plays he will sniff around and hopefully be there for an offload for those half breaks!.

Ryan is slow. Brown is not. Watch his chase on Kevin Gordon in round 26 if you have any doubts.

ryan is a joke, at least fitzy is fast, sleau has never offered the team anything

he is only in the team because he is a media personality and in the 'in' crowd

It was Brown who caught Gordon.

Came from the other side of the field as he was playing left centre in the Rd 26 game.

Thats very rough mate.

At times this year Beau has been very good. He's not a joke mate.

i think daniella and benji would and have worked wonders together.im also a fan of lawrence and aysh though.maybe aysh could become a pat richards style winger for us.

I officially call the search for the replacement of Daniel Fitzhenry and what he brings to Wests Tigers fans OVER..

Just think Beau got a contract extention around the 1st Parra game this year…

BWO.....

Yeah its pretty harsh… sometimes he has an off game... sometimes he has a blinder...

to say he's a joke is a joke.

he is crap

if it wasnt for him we would have had the game against the raiders wrapped up at halftime

he has no attributes that a winger should have, he isnt quick, he isnt big, he isnt strong, he isnt good under the high ball, he has no footwork. i fail to see what he offers the team apart from being the first one in after someone scores.

when kg offloaded to him on the last play of the game most wingers put the foot down and score, but sleau did a stupid kick infield because he makes todd byrne look like usain bolt.

I think in order for Ryan to keep his spot he will need to bulk up significantly during the off season. He is not fast enough to keep the physique he currently has, he will need other attributes to keep his position. He gets hammered and bent back most of the time in possession. He occasionally gets through but more often than not Ryan gets clobbered. A bulked up Ryan may have a chance of saving his career.

He isn't quick for a winger but I wouldn't call him extremely slow. Hopefully Tuiaki can get back to his best or close to it and we have Tuqiri and Tuiaki on the wings. Beau is good to have for depth.

The problem with Beau Ryan is that he honestly believes he is a skillful star football player.

It means he trys plays that are well out of his skill set and that makes him dangerous to his own side.

How many times against St George did he get pushed backwards and ruin our momentum? How many times did he leave Brown posted with terrible passes into the in goal? What about when he was barely able to get to marker because he ran to take the first pass when nobody was there?

We have much better options. Put him in the mascot suit if we need his infectuous spirit

Beau Ryan can be quick on some days. As many of us quote his a 'hot and cold player'.

For pace I think he does have some as it was evident in the second Panthers in 2007 he out sprinted Michael Jennings.

His a photo.

Hope everyone remembers?

Last try shown, He did give jennings a start, but did hold him off well.

more impressive was Lawrences 97 metre effort!

some people have no idea.

Beau is an excellent finisher. Sure he's not the best rounded winger, but his selection week in week out does not bother me at all.

yes beau is an excellent finisher.finishes any chance we had of a try basically for the whole finals series with repeated drops of beautifully weighted kicks and bad decisions.
