Ben Elias warns critics of Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitch Moses the laughs will be on them

Can someone tell Benny to watch Jack Bird's 1st 7 games of first grade . Benny that is the real definition of a Star in the making . This kid can play and has played for Country already.

Moses is soooo much better than Bird its not funny.

Don't get brain washed on this Potential crap the Club drums on it's supporter . Bird has been superb in just 7 games of 1st Grade and played for Counrty already , not that Mickey Mouse game means anything .
In this moment in time Bird is far superior player already it's not to say that Moses won't be in a few years time .

Simon , I could understand you sayin that "You hopehe will be better" than Bird,
But the evidence so far, is that he's not even close to Bird. Maybe that will change , but so far there has been nothing to show that . Their form is like chalk and cheese, and while in time I hope you are right ,Bird has shown everyone that he is a worthy of being in first grader, while Moses has shown veery little.
I would love that to be reversed, but have serious doubts, but could be wrong.

I rate Valentine Holmes more than Bird.

Cronulla are lucky to have both of them, they've both shown that they are up to first grade standard. Hopefully they'll stay there fore a long time.

GCT I am just saying it is very unusual for players to come out of the 20's straight into first grade and be standouts. This is particularly so in the case of Moses who is surrounded by inexperienced players.

I am not sure how good he is going to be but I am prepared to give him at least this year and probably next before I start criticizing him mercilessly like some on here.

I agree with your comment about the inexperienced players. But Moses had some time in NSW cup before coming up. And I thing that there have been quite a few that have been bought up and showed a lot in first grade straight away. Bird, Elgey , Tom Tjobevic , (
before his injury. spelling may be wrong) Leary from Manly , the back rower from the Roosters, Grevsmuhl from Souths, Holmes to name just a few, and these are only from this season and late last season( as was Moses .)

A lot of the critism is not aimed at Mitchell himself, but at the club , for putting him in the team before his body is ready for it. ( which is my biggest concern about him. )
I can't comment on whether he has the talent to eventually be a permanent first grader, as I haven't seem him before he came up to first grade, and can only go on what I've seen there.

One thing though, no one can doubt his courage and determination as he keeps getting back up again.
And I hope the kid has a great game today
