The fact we appointed him is a great example of why there are so many problems. No other club would have given him the job.My old man was saying it in the 70s

Souths, Eels both beat us by more than 2 points ( even though we were competitive i suppose)Iv got to be honest, I'm as frustrated with the team and Benji as every one, but when i take a breath a calm down and look at the season so far objectively. We got hammered by Melbourne, we got well beaten by Brisbane. Apart from that, we lost last night by 4 points, every other game we've lost we lost by 2 points, we're scrappy we're out of form but we're really competative. So far imo Benji gets a massive pass from me. Considering we have absolutely no depth. I think Benjis done a decent job.
Yep - the majority Wests ownership is the problem!Just 1 I can see. Problem. The damn shareholders
Thanks for talking football man. Appreciate it.Yep - the majority Wests ownership is the problem!
Nil ambition to be a Premiership contender for 50+ years & happy to keep moving the deck chairs on a sinking ship while retaining the same festering cesspool of long term Board members - Dennis being the poster boy!
With good reasons! My old man was saying it in the 70s
Your right, I totally forgot, got to get my rose coloured glasses off.Souths, Eels both beat us by more than 2 points ( even though we were competitive i suppose)
What about an unlicensed NRL player under the influence of drugs driving an uninsured vehicle that causes an accident creating damage and injury to innocent people. What if you put an adult who's never driven a car behind behind the wheel? They should be smart enough not to do it.
How do we do that?Richo has said it too. The club can’t expect HBG to keep tipping in truckloads of cash, the club needs to become financially viable in its own right.
What do you expect, the doctor slapped him and then he slapped his parents even harder, or at least should of. 🤣 🤣 🤣I’m sure you abused the doctor who delivered you
I thought adel on the podcast pretty much nailed my interpretation of the events .Yep - the majority Wests ownership is the problem!

You may make some valid points but in an attempt to remain rational, I can't agree with your assertion that "he went from the best ref in the game to much lower down the pecking order now." Don't get me wrong, I hate the Klown.I thought adel on the podcast pretty much nailed my interpretation of the events .
Ashley Klein has an issue with us. My honest opinion . He’s angry we went after him , with the “short whistle “ fiasco .
Since then we have gone from contentious call to contentious call . And here’s the thing . When he does give a try that’s clearly a try whether I. The bunker or not , his demeanour is that of reluctance , and spite .
Now you can call that ref bashing , but as I watched the game I really only had issue with Suttons lack of clarity around luai and warning for his sin bin.
But as you study the tape these last 36 plus hours , you start to see how much influence Klein was having on that game .
The club needs to make a stance .
I’d love to know what our win percentage is with Klein in any capacity since vs prior to the “short whistle” game . Let’s not forget he was dropped for 2 weeks . And he went from the best ref in the game to much lower down the pecking order now . I might be jumping at shadows . And if so , cool .
But I don’t think I am . I genuinely think he is incapable of impartiality with us , and to be fair it’s his fault anyway .. I question his integrity . I question his ability. The proof is in the eating .
I hope I’m wrong . I don’t enjoy ref bashing . I really don’t . Especially when we lost that game because a lack of intent in defence , and resilience the boys should and have to be tougher mentally when under pressure .
But as a club , it is the clubs duty to ask why they’re under soo much pressure . Because even the luai sin bin . That tackle was 3.2 seconds . Which for most of the year is our average tackle when we have the ball . wtf is that ? It could be Sutton was “gotcha” refereeing the games . And that’s fine .
BUt the club itself needs to take the nrl to task on this . Because like every professional sport , the top clubs are officiated differently , they just are . Is it gambling ? To ensure more expected outcomes actually happen ? I dunno .
But it’s rife in professional sports . And only getting worse . Everyone knows it’s much easier to control outcomes through officials , than it is with players . I’m not saying it’s corrupt or anything .
I’m saying if there is a long history of data referring to a particular outcome , then that data should be taken to the nrl and have that particular official , have to front what is happening .
Because at the very least he’s not doing his job properly . And if he does have an issue . Maybe it’s justified , and he can’t get over it . That’s fine . But keep him away from our games .
But like i said this is a Wests tigers issue re. Richardson .
The football team issue . Is a lack of resilience and intent when momentum shifts . And confidence in the structures to execute on the field .
Is it a communication issue from the coaches to the players . Is it bad coaching ? Is it simply the players aren’t executing what they’re supposed to . I dunno , but it needs to be fixed by Benji and John . Or replace the pea hearts with players who want to turn up .
Nah , I meant instantly . It looks like his career has recovered . Was it Grant Atkins who took over the rep games for a few years , and now can’t get a run in nrl ?You may make some valid points but in an attempt to remain rational, I can't agree with your assertion that "he went from the best ref in the game to much lower down the pecking order now." Don't get me wrong, I hate the Klown.
He got last years State of Origin series, the Grand Final and so far this season has refereed State of Origin 1 and would not be surprised if he continues getting the "big games."
2 points or 4, doesn't change your premise that Benji and the boys have been competitive in the vast majority of matches this year despite the rigmarole surrounding Galvin and others.Your right, I totally forgot, got to get my rose coloured glasses off.
Not sure if you are thinking of Adam Gee who refereed the 2023 Grand Final pretty much to the satisfaction of just about everyone, even rave revues by some.Nah , I meant instantly . It looks like his career has recovered . Was it Grant Atkins who took over the rep games for a few years , and now can’t get a run in nrl ?
I can’t remember the refs name for the life of me . But the guy who replaced Klein , now is struggling , or was , I’ll be honest I don’t keep up with ref politics .
I do know it coincided with a change in the hierarchy of the refs about a year or 2 ago.
Like I said I’m not excuses for the teams performance . That’s in the coaching staff .
I’m just saying 2 things can be true at once . And both need to be treated withy he same weight of care.
I’d also be happy to be proven wrong, and this is just my one eyed tigers supporter brain , going on a rant . If anything that’s the best outcome because it means the team can improve , and as such will get better results.
But if I’m my theory is correct , no amount of improvement from the team will be able to counter act , bias from officials . Whether conscious or unconscious .
