Naimey's Triple 0 call

"I just got hit by a football player" just played to the court.

Hopefully this settles exactly why this complaint was levelled against Marshall

And the defence rests Your Honour

"I just got hit by a football player."

Not "I've been smacked in the face by someone," or "help me, I've just been bashed."

Sums it up really.

justice prevails. Now Benji lets get on with another premiership. I hope that naimey creep gets hammered for this and has not been seen today at all FUNNY THAT!!!

Thank god for that. Feel sorry that Benji has had to go through this for the last 6 months.

I now look forward to him helping the team delivery another premiership for Wests Tigers.

He is a credit to to this club, his family and country how he has deal with this and still played good footy, imagine what he can do now he can totally focus on football

I, like Benji, am one very happy man.

Now, back to winning the premiership.

Assault charges against Wests Tigers star Benji Marshall have been dismissed by a Sydney court.

Magistrate Carolyn Barkell announced her decision in Downing Centre Local Court today after swimming great Dawn Fraser told the court that Marshall was "very honest" and she found assault allegations levelled against him difficult to believe.

Ms Fraser is a director of the Wests Tigers Football Club and has known Marshall, 26, since he joined the club in 2004

"Thankyou for calling Triple O… This is Greg McCullum speaking"

"Was it High?"

"Was it Late?"

"Does he play for the NSW Blues?"

:roll
They have wasted crucial training time for Benji with this rot
:deadhorse:

Just on a (yes sorry off topic) sidenote, I'm going to a wedding in October where Greg McCallum is the celebrant…

Justice. Inexperienced Police.

While the Police may have been niave, how did the DPP actualy take this to court without any evidence?

I doubt it even made it to the DPP. At the end of the day, this was a very low level matter.

Justice! Justice! Justice!

I hope now Benji feels like the shackles have been released and he'll unleash hell between now and raising the premiership trophy.

It's a good question why the police acted as they did. I don't know. It doesn't seem like they had a very solid brief of evidence. Did they have any witnesses?

Surely Benji wasn't wearing the same outfit two days in a row? What a fashion faux pas!
