Benji Marshall has "gone back to the drawing board"

Our forwards can hold their heads high as far as I'm concerned. They have performed above what you would expect given the pack we have on paper.

Its our backs/halves that have underperformed, our forwards have laid enough of a platform at different stages for the backs to work with.

I agree 100%, I have seen effort and attitude in defense I have not seen for a long time, but their is no cohesion or team work and that is why they look so poor and are playing so poorly. Injuries have not helped their cause, but our two senior players must take some of the flak, they are being paid a motza to direct the team around the field and make very very smart calls. At present its been all" hail Mary " stuff and from where I sit they have offered very little in the way of structure and guidance. Dont get me wrong, Farah plays his butt off week in and week out, but at present its not working, as for Benji I dont know if he will ever get back to anywhere near his best

we all know what benji is capable of doing to opposition on the footy field.
just does not seem to happen as much.
for Benji himself, it would be nice to watch him progress not regress in his impact on the field.
