He looks fit n strong

He is still a Wests Tigers legend Happy and did t leave the club to play against us. I for one will watch more rugby this year as I am interested in the man and his career, as it seems others are as well.

The thread is in the General Discussion section. Several other spurts are mentioned on the forum as well.

Sorry Stryker , but legend is a huge word to throw around when talking about Benji

Even Alf, Artie, Bert, Sterlo etc etc all had bad days and made errors….yeh not as often as Marshall, granted - but the greats are remembered for their special talents....not their everyday mere mortal exploits & errors that link them to the rest of us as human beings

Good on you Benji …. Off to a good start.

Trial. And they lost. Not surprised.

A score against of 38 is nothing new with a team benji plays in.

Happy, As well aware as I am that Marshal did not end well, no player achieved as much whilst wearing our colours, nor did as much both on and off the field for this club as this bloke did.
He is most definitely a club legend.
Anyway, why are you upset about this thread? You bang on with others about a game most of us laugh at, played by people that are not household names in this country with absolutely zero ties to this club. How is that any different?
Surely it is not inconceivable that fans take an interest in the ongoing career of a bloke who gave a decade of his life playing for us?

agreed… While many may of been frustrated with Benji, there is no denying what he was to the Tigers on and off the field.

Let's show some respect to the guy!

Certainly more of a legend than ex players like Roach and Elias who only seem to spend their time slating the club rather than supporting it.

Will always be a legend and has done more for Wests Tigers than can be measured. Was treated poorly by the current administration and i for one would welcome him back in a heartbeat

I'm not upset about this thread , I just won't go out of my way to watch the Auckland Blues play

I'll see how he is going if he plays against the Reds or if he happens to make the All Black Test side

im actually as pleased as anyone else that he doesnt play for the tigers any more! i once started a thread saying the tigers needed to get rid of him that created a huge storm of backlash against me!
but in saying that, i have nothing whatsoever against him as a person and simply wish him well and it is interesting to see him in a different sport. good luck to him.

Did bugger all tonite

Fail

Did you see the game ink?

It's going to take some time either way to work out whether he will be a success or just making up the numbers in rugby.

And your surprised ??

I think you will be able to use those comments for most games , barring games v the South African weaker sides

The other comment will be along the lines of "had another howler "
