We have no coach. Even worst than that, we have no assistants either. John Morris is so overhyped. Sure, he might have gotten the Sharks to the finals, but we’re several rungs below even that. It’s a total disgrace that Sheens and the old guard allowed this to happen, but it also doesn’t do any good for Richo, every day he allows this to go on. Benji is not a coach. He did great in the off season, and was one of the main reasons we got Luai, be-cards he has charisma coming out of his eyeballs. He can talk the talk and sell ice to an Eskimo. But, and I said this several times over the summer, the true test for him was going to be when the season kicked off. And unfortunately, the emperor does have no clothes.

Maybe its not Morris fault, but Morris apparently is responsible for defence. I dont know what is going on with WT coaching staff but something sure isnt working. Interested to see the piece earlier this week that Benji rejected getting Holbrook on the staff, then I recalled something from the past that Sheens too didnt want anyone on the coaching staff that could potentially threaten or outshine him. Wondering now, whether Benji is of the same mindset. Morris has a better coaching background and was also a fill in fulltime first grade coach for Cronulla who are materially a much better team with better personnel and a recent track record much, much better than WT.

Something is up and not working, who at WT is currently qualified to look under the hood and see the gremlins or otherwise? I dont think its Richardson who can do this aspect of things.

But what’s the future hold , we are getting a 1/2 back and a winger , think that will improve this team , NOT a hope in hell .
Need 3-4 forwards a GOOD winger and a centre, that’s the only way this team improves. BUT , Richo and benji only want to go with kids , they most be related to BOWEN , stick ur head in the sand and hope

Benji / the team is on the path of breaking another record this season.
The result vs the Bunnies was our 6TH game with at least 40 points conceded.
It is on par with season 2021 where we also had 6 games in conceding 40 points.

Seems to be a habit for WT though ONE season 2011 was the only season in WT’s 25 year history where we did not concede at least 40 points in a game.

Not sure if that is the worst record out of any other NRL clubs but I think it is horrific to say the least.

I reckon Benji needs one more year before he is crucified. I get that Luia won't save us by himself but who is to say that some other strong, solid signings aren't going to be made before next season starts. I trust Richo and think that behind the scenes plenty is going on. Forwards are desperately needed but at least we know that Sam and Sione Fainu are up for it, same as Fonu Pole. Sign some experienced forwards and things look a lot better, Pommie wimp, Meathead Klemmer and Mice aka Papali are disgraceful.

This year was always about drip feeding our kids into the top grade which is what Benji has done and continue to do. There wasn't anyone thinking we were going to make the finals so I'm not sure what people expect. The kids will be another year older next year and our old guys will be closer to retirement. Let's stick to the path.

At some point we have to follow through with a plan or no one will buy anything we are trying to sell. This is not the squad this year that was going to turn things around. Can't keep sacking coaches on the back of weak squads surely we have learned that. Strengthen the squad then make the coach accountable.

1) we don’t show any speed in defence, getting if the line
2) we don’t rapt up the ball carrier , yesterday we had 3 players holding a player up , not once but 3-4 times and they unloaded I think they scored of 2 if them

Get someone in who can fix these problems

Taylor always gets good raps as an assistant coach just couldn’t convert to being a NRL coach. Cartwright & Potter were the same.

Maybe he is overhyped. But I have seen our defense improve, not drastically but significantly.

Yes Sheens and Benji have done great in the recruitment department. What they haven't done is transfer that into onfield performance.

That is the strangest post I have seen for ages , have conceded over 200 points in the last month and he has seen a improvement 🤔😳

If you have a look at the coaching Structure know in place at the Bulldogs it is hard not to admire what they have done, also looking how the storm coaching structure and you can see how we are struggling both on and off the field. Makes you curious why Robbie Mears left.

I think benji needs to have a long look at himself, his selections are woeful, kit was crap in his 1st game , slow as a snail and hands like flippers .
His other selection is miller this kid has nothing he is unfit , slow , his one hit up , he walked in to the line , he can’t move side ways to make tackles , no point been that size if u can’t do anything
