That was his worst game this season imo.

His decisions were terrible, as were his attacking kick execution and choice.

And his defence was shocking and almost cost us.

Hopefully we will be back to his best next week.

Probably its fairly difficult to remain at the heights he reaches at his best.

His worst is equal to others best

x 2 like i said prior his not consistent enough to be our play maker he is a geniune 6\. Last week best game one week later worst game next week… Who knows!!!!

I thought Sironen covered for him well. He continually took simple but good options and executed them. He has an old head on his young shoulders. And how big is it…..

Take out the short dropout and I reckon this thread doesn't exist. His long kicking game wasn't bad and he controlled the play and had the forwards moving. He didn't do anything flash which we all expect but he wasn't terrible. Conditions favored the forwards.

His defense was terrible.. He kicked a 40/20 and set up a few line breaks…. He wasnt at his best but I'm happy he is on my team!

He raced out of the line multiple times in the second half only to arm grab and miss tackle, Melbourne targeted him for sure and he should've got more cover (especially when Fulton went off) but even so we were lucky.

I must have watched a different game. He lead us around the field superbly. I agree the two missed tackles could have been costly but you lot are harsh

Apart from those few mistakes, I thought he played pretty good, considering the conditions.

His kicking game was good and it was not the night for fancy plays.

Only thing that annoyed me a little was that bomb near the end. Whne you are trying to kill off the game, roll the ball into the in-goal and get the dropout. Put it in the air and they catch it, they just get the ball on the 20.

Agree. Yes, the missed tackles in the second half were bad, as was the decision to play the short line drop out, I thought he directed the side well and his kicking game was alright. I've certainly seen him play worse.

I don't know about that.

Ive seen Marshall play games that Glen Air would be disappointed in.

Tonight his kicking game and defence was terrible. The same could be said for Iosefas kicking. B Benji he did some ok things with the ball. He gave the outside backs a lot of space where on a dry night I hope Lawrence/Tuquiri could of taken more advantage.

Most of his kicks were purposeful/smart, suitable for the weather, and he directed a good channel of attack down the left side (where we looked like scoring all night), only downside being the way he was shrugged off by a couple of Melbourne players, especially guys his size or smaller.

Pretty harsh call IMO, you've got to understand the guy can't pull of A-grade performances every week. Yes, he's magician/wizard/superstar, all of the above, but your expectations are out of touch DB.

That's right.

Still I didn't like his performance tonight. In saying that the hooker kept taking control when he shouldn't have.

x2

Benji made a few wrong decisions in defence, but under conditions I cannot blame him.
The only issue I have is that short drop kick. Anyway, genious minds think at a different level

Go Tigers

pretty stupid to take the short line drop out. good attitude in defense, but should've gone for the legs instead of going over the top of widdop. overall, a very good game despite those mistakes.

im saying this again, he looks out of position at halfback, he looks lost when he has to direct the team around. if he was playing 2nd receiver instead of sirro, we would've scored. playing the % is not natural to him and still.. we need an organising halfback.. !!!!

Don't think it helped not having Farah inside him .

He made some blunders defensively but if he had some genuine speed outside him the game should of been over at half time

Probably a 6/10 game in my opinion
