Best choice of coach from ones in talking

I can't understand why he isn't ahead of the other candidates. Our next coach needs to be ready to handle a less than stable environment and an experienced coach would be vital here. Furthermore He is currently not coaching and therefore may be reasonably cost effective compared to others, a hard headed disciplinarian coach which we desperately need and has taken talented teams not full of stars to the semis and GF and finally would keep all the dinosaurs in our club happy that are against anyone with a wests or balmain history!!! Unless he isnt interested i would hope that they would have chat with him.

Decision on sheens put off for two weeks.
Bellamy refusing to talk about his coaching contract for 2014 until after melbournes season is over ie in 2 weks time, at the latest.
Coincidence?
Humpty would be silly not to sound him out.

We won't be able to afford him if we pay out Sheens.

Just speculation but I think the two week wait has more to do with the Warriors recruitment process than any review. I reckon Sheens has said that he wants his pay out but will walk for substantially less if he gets the Warrioirs gig. If he is not successful, i would say he is secure for another year.

In terms of available coaches..

1) Anderson
2) Elliot (seems to be a forgotten man)
3) Folkes
4) Potter
5) anyone but Jason Taylor

Would love to have Steve folkes here. I think if we want him we should move quick, I have a feeling he might get offered the head role at st. Yawn if old mate struggles early next year. He is exactly what we need here IMO, a hard ass who is not afraid to put noses out of joint.

Not sure about browny. Was thrown in to early at the dragons. Could be good for us.

Brian smith? Could be a good short term option.

If not folkes, I would throw every penny we had at Bellamy for 2014\. He would turn us into a powerhouse.

Keep it in the family - the big hombre, Toddy Payten!

Would like him but probably too close to the current playing group to be effective.

If we're going to look at Matt Parish, why not have a look at Brad Arthur too? If we're going to go for a budget coach he'd tick more boxes for me than parish.

Who's decision is it to sign a coach, humpty or the boards? Who knows with us, we seem to do things differently. i.e releasing players lately (which I have no qualms with) instead of every other club which would of just sacked the coach.

Nathan Brown head coach, Steve Folkes assistant coach.

Dunno if that would work
Just personally…looking at those two, in my eyes Folkes is the senior in all facets, hes older, more experienced in NRL head coaching, probably holds more respect

That said id love these two on board if they can work together
