Black & Gold Army ??

Hi,

Me & some of my friends were thinking of making an official Tigers Supporter Group e.g. Dogs have " The Kennel ", Sharks have " CSSC ". We are thinking of calling ours the " BGA " - Black & Gold Army,
If anyone would like to help us it would be much appreciated.

The WTF (Wests Tigers Fanatics) was up and running between 2002 and 2006\. Unfortunately it started to fall apart when a large undesirable element joined the group, making it rather unattractive to many.
If you end up creating a group can I advise that you steer clear of the drongos that will rock up and try and ruin it by yelling abuse, fighting, extreme foul language and what-not; they are pretty obvious though.

I've still got my big flags (2m flag, 4m flag and the 5.5m whoppa) plus I know there are still a few members on here and elsewhere that still have theirs. I'd be happy to pass them on.
If you need any help promoting it let us know, we'd be happy to help out in any way on this site/forum.

I must admit beinga little jealous of the cronulla set up.

They just sit together wherever they go in the same jumper,no flags drums or any of that BS.

Looks sharp on TV and they always seem to be having fun.

Black and Gold Army or The Tiger Den are really the only two names I can think of that don't sound Laboured, which is what Black, Gold and White army does.

I noticed the singing but not the trumpet.But they sure get behind their team and have a load of fun.

i remember the trumpet vividly at a Leichhardt match on Friday night in 2008\. but they were't just blowing a trumpet but producing good harmonies. they killed us that night. but i remember the music of the night.

Hopefully you can get some tips from the old heads to help things run smoothly. We certainly learnt the hard way. Somes aspects of the WTF were great although the idiots ruined it for everyone.

I haven't been to alot of nrl matches and only the one wests tigers match at skilled park last year, It was pretty quiet in the stadium. Then i went to see sydney fc play goldcoast united in the a league at skilled park and the place was going off - chants, songs, drums. I understand football and nrl have very different fans but if all nrl matches were like that it would awesome!
Ive heard the leichardt games are like this but i dont get a chance to see them. I'll be at the broncos match in brisbane this year it would be awesome if there was an army, ill def be in there!!!!!
