Blair Being Shopped Around

I would like to see him utilized as prop this week.

I must say I was expecting a lot more like everyone else. For whatever reason it hasn't worked out and I think both club and player will be better if there was a separation.

The same could be said for about another half dozen players. We are not going anywhere to find another Gareth Ellis style second rower, not sure where your going to find this beast

I have a question that I can't seem to answer how does McDonald keep his job??
Id love a job like this make bad decisions and still keep ya job

He'll probably end up at another club and killing us while we are still paying for him

That's just how our luck is running right now

Could be worse, he could keep making our 17, and still be killing us.

He has had a chance to stand up for the last year and a half, and failed miserably. Just get him out of first grade please!

Nothing but an oxygen thief. Don't let the doors hit your fairy wings on the way out ya bludger.

No club will touch him for 500 grand, we would have to pay at least 200g of it. We will end up shelling out a lot of cash on people who are not at the club in Sheens and Blair

I am glad I don't own the Wests Tigers finances.. Wayne Swan could have done a better financial job..

halfway thru next season, you watch he will begin to play very well and continue to do so in his 4th year at wests-tigers.
players do it all the time when their contract is up.

Heigno really hit his stride when he was told he could look elsewhere, maybe Blair will do the same?

I too expected more from this bloke based on his storm days lets hope he has some sort of league epiphany against the cowboys and proves us all wrong!

If I was Blair and I read that comment, I'd be damn well doing my utmost to show the Tigers that they're wrong and I'm worth what they're paying. It's sad that Blair shows so little desperation and quality out on the field. There's nothing wrong with his fitness, he should be good for 30 tackles and 15 hitups every game.

After all the knock backs surely the Eels would be interested in him…they were prepared to pay more for lesser named forwards...common sticky take Blair

Yea Sticky, He is a superstar.

Ladder Standings Pre-Blair:

2010- 3rd
2011- 4th

Ladder Standings Post-Blair:

2012- 10th
2013- 16th

Coincidence?

i propose that wests put him a work scheme, out of nrl and into the workforce. maybe a security guard for the next 3-5 years. ok so thats a pretty expensive security guard but hey… you could have one of him as opposed 2-3 security guards. no person would want to take on a rather large nrl player. lol

or better yet drop him, replace him with a junior, learn the lesson that next time when we sign players unless they are of marquee status a contract review clause must be implented. maybe something along the lines of .... dont perform you get dropped and only reason 25% of the remainder of contract and if you perform you recieve pay upgrades. IT HAS TO BE DONE. too many players get signed for too long with no benefits. if no player wants to come to wests so be it. we have a rather large junior base and im sure they would rather the opportunity over someone like humphrey b blair
