Blair now on song!

I thought Blair did a lot right tonight. Over the last 6 weeks I really think he is starting to step up.

Good on the young bloke. The K bolt had a good game. The first halves defense was very bad. Just goes to show what we can do if we defend & hold onto the pill (I.e 2nd half)

Just remember its only Parra. We need to keep winning to make the eight but build the confidence as well.

Good job boys!

Still went missing for large parts of the game and came up with a very weak miss on Roberts. Improved but was still our worst starting player imo.

Maybe blair is still trying to come to terms with a football team that is not as committed to eachother in defence . At storm he could trust his inside and outside man now he is running all over the place having to make diving tackles and the storm had a defence policy IF the other team has the ball tackle him and stay in a structured line plus slow the play th ball down .

Scored his third try for tigers but only his eigth for his career.
He must not have been in bellamys master plan to score tries.

I'm with you galea#11, I would like to know how many metres Blair runs each game - not in attack, but defence. The selective negative knit picking at isolated incidents in his game is uncalled for. Blair always gives chase and is there to support the backs after long breaks through our defensive line. I see a fellow having a real dig every week, ask BMM. Go Weststigers!

Couldn't you think of anybody who started that was worse than him? Me either.

Round 22 and it's now he's starting to stand up? not good enough. We'll see how he goes in the next few games before we should start praising him.

Compared to Galloway, Woods, Bell and Heighno he had an ordinary game. He goes missing for large portions of the game.

I still think you can get say 40 minutes tops out of him and it won't all be at the level of most of our other forwards.

He has been a terrible buy.

It's funny, everyone blows up about some of his missed tackles, but did anyone notice his effort to get Morgan just prior to the second try? He came from the other side of the field to pull him down just before the line. If Farah had made an improved attempt to catch that kick from Sandow, it would have been a try saver to match Koroibete's effort on Sandow.

55 metres in attack and 5 missed tackles. Yeah, he had a blinder :crazy

…yes I did notice that, it was a good effort

I thought he was good.

He made a poor read for the Roberts break but so dis Beau on that play. Just as Heighno and Ellis did for their conceded linebreak through the guts.

His willingness to chase in cover defence and take the tougher hitups at stages was also promising.

Still issues to work on as with every player in our team but getting bettter

As someone mentioned, I'd love to see the GPS data on him. I'd say he covers more kms than anyone in the team except Farah.

It was a great effort Gary and he does it most weeks at some stage in games. Our Attitude in Defence is a Big Big problem for this whole team… It appears to be trained into them all this arm grabbing etc?!

Get rid of the Defensive Coach!
