He had a really good game tonight. Played big minutes and did everything needed to fill in for Fulton. Great game in defence and did some really good things in attack.

For an unfashionable player he's becoming a vital part of our pack.

Agree with all that. I thought our backrow would be our weak point this year, it's actually been one of our strongest positions and a lot of that is due to bodene.

Bodene Thompson has been a real rock for the team this year…many criticised Potter for selecting Thompson in the team, Potter said Thompson trained the house down during preseason and deserved his spot and Potter was right.

Thompson has been very good for us this year so far this year!.
