hasn't beaten much yet and living a but of the family name if he was Tom Smith He wouldn't be as relevant. He may squeak a win against Gausha but don't think he can win the title, still an OK fighter but don't think he is as good as press make out. Not a patch on his old man

I felt the same until he boxed Inoue who was solid against Munguia.

Kostya was the king. Took on the very best in their own backyard and conquered them all until Hatton.
Always loved watching him fight, he was like a snake waiting to strike.
Had a great sense of humour too.
Nikita seems like a humble guy, always a great trait to have IMO.
No idea why you'd hope that 😅

Agree that it wasn't a great performance, it almost looked like it was just a set-up TBH to let him get his feet wet in the pro's.
Only his debut though so he will learn.

I'm not fussed either way about Tim.
Interesting to see how he follows Kostya's legacy but he is a lot more of a tool than Kostya ever was. Likes to mouth off a fair bit. If I had to choose who i'd rather see do well it'd be Nikita over Tim IMO. Humble is good😂

A lot of touted prospects get mannequins as first-up opponents though. Especially ones with famous names.
To be fair to the sons, Kostya has set the bar extremely high in terms of legacy.

Have never been a huge fan of Barry Hall from his AFL days but I hope he punches holes in Sonny tonight.
