One only has to look back at HBG and Wests Tigers boards over the past decade to see the one constant. All others at HBG have been killed off, replaced with puppets. After the dismissal of the WT board prior to the independent review, who do you think got themselves back on the board as the HBG rep? He has never been the public mouthpiece, leaving that to guys he knows adore the public profile, like Lee, Richo, and now Paton. While 'HBG' are referenced, again, with this latest chapter in social media and national media, he somewhat has an out, remaining faceless and under the radar to continue his self-interested work. There needs to be collaborative pod just on this guy. Carryannis or Read need to do an article on him. He is the emperor, and nothing will change while he continues to have influence.

He will stop at nothing to get the Magpies back, so I dare say the events that have transpired are very much deliberate. The 3 or 4 debenture holders that were stood down or suspended 12 months ago were very much on board with the merger and were desperate to see the Wests Tigers succeed, hence why they were thrown out for very petty allegations.

You're letting hypothetical scenarios play out in your head, obviously biased towards DB being 'disadvantaged' in some regard.

I've commented on the historical time line of events. Lots of people have come and gone from both HBG and Wests Tigers boards. He is the constant who continually remains on both.

You may like to paint a picture of him being the larrikin everyone loves and wants to keep around because of his eccentric appearance, so that is why he happens to survive endless coups at HBG and is continuously reappointed to WT boards. Most apart from DB, his puppets, and sympathisers like yourself, would call this naive.
